NHS is a f* joke, please help

Can someone please recommend a good private gynaecologist in London and not very expensive??😩

I feel some pain inside and sometimes cramps but not like period ones it’s different and some redness

This is what happened to me: I had an episiotomy, the wound opened and I had an infection, my midwife prescribed antibiotics and pain killers after 4 weeks the wound closed but the pain was still there. She said I need to talk to my gp. At my 6 weeks appointment I had some redness on one side(idk how to explain it) my Gp said it’s ok to still feel some pain because I just gave birth and had an episiotomy, I’m still recovering. About the redness spot she took a swab, and if it would be bad they will contact me. I was asking to go to a gynaecologist but she said there is no reason for that but I feel like something is wrong🥲
In a week I decided to check the results and it was ABNORMAL, I contacted them (with redness on both sides now) they prescribed antibiotics and another gp appointment, that was yesterday.
Same person looked again and took a swab of my discharge, to my question if I can get a referral to a gynaecologist because I feel like something is wrong she said to use some cream and that this is nothing to worry about. I asked if I still need to take the antibiotics she said she thought I finished them ( they were prescribed on Tuesday for 5 days, starting on Wednesday morning, my appointment was on Thursday🤦🏻‍♀️)

Firstly, congratulations on your baby! 🤍
Honestly, I’d be asking to be seen by the hospital again or asking for a referral to gynaecology. I know you’re only about 2 months postpartum so some discomfort can still be normal, but after your episiotomy opened up, got infected, you’ve had abnormal swabs, and you’re still in pain with redness, I’d definitely want someone to have a proper look.
I hate how women’s health so often doesn’t seem to be taken seriously. It feels like you have to keep pushing and pushing just to be listened to. If you genuinely feel something isn’t right, don’t let anyone make you feel like you’re overreacting.
If you start getting severe pain, a fever, foul-smelling discharge, heavy bleeding or the redness gets worse, I’d get seen urgently rather than waiting.
I really hope you get the treatment you deserve and start feeling like yourself again. Wishing you a speedy recovery xx

Honestly, in the UK I find only emotional blackmail and exaggeration works for your GP to escalate it. You can also say to them if you are right and something turns out to be wrong will they accept liability

Bag for hospital

Ok so I know I’m a little early but my mind likes to be very organised 😂 what sort of bag are you planning on taking to hospital with you? Last time I think I took a large suitcase and I ended up using hardly anything! Do I take a small suitcase for baby and then a little bag of bits for me? Or do I just take the suitcase again?

VBAC or Scheduled Csection

I had a very traumatic first birth with my first born, 1 year and 3 months ago. I was in labour for more than 24 hours, ended up having to have an emergency C-section as baby had passed meconium during labour and he was also a 4.400kg baby. We ended up having to stay in hospital for 6 days and both on antibiotics.

With that being said I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant and baby is already weighing 2.392kg. I will be having another scan on the 24th to see how much baby is weighing and will then be discussing options in best interest of baby.
I really wanted to try a VBAC but I do not want to risk having to stay in hospital for that long away from my first born. Feeling so unsure whether to still allow my body to go into natural labour or to just schedule a csection to avoid another emergency csection and distress on the baby???

Pressure in pelvis / FTM

I’m 37 weeks & woke up with heaviness/pressure in pelvic area. I hardly could swing my legs out bed. Is anyone else experiencing this? Called Triage and midwife advised it’s normal & paracetamol and call back if any other symptoms arise.

Wtf is this stage? 🫠

I’ve never known such an up and down stage of parenting.

My daughter is either a ray of sunshine or constantly screaming.

I cannot ever predict how our days go. I don’t work Fridays and every Friday is just horrible at the moment 😭 also 24 weeks pregnant and just exhausted.
