Formula mums how do you make bottles?

Do you follow the guidelines of boiling kettle, leaving to cool slightly, mixing formula then cooling under the tap to drinking temp? Or do you have your own way? If so what?

I use the hot shot method with the nuby rapid cool takes under a minute to make a bottle so easy x

We use the hot shot method. We have a kettle that can boil the water and keep at 75 degrees. We use that for the hot shot and a flask of cooled boiled water in the fridge and make as needed 😊

I was using the Tommee Tippee prepper until my baby screamed for 3 days straight. Asked the Midwives for help and they told me about what is informally known as "Bottle Prep Colic". They said the hot shot doesn't kill all bacteria and the machine has parts you can't clean. Threw it out immediately and have been making them the old fashioned way and no more colic symptoms!

Pram help?

I have the puggle urban double pram as have 2 under 2. Youngest is 12 weeks & absolutely HATES the bassinet as she likes to look around lol. She also doesnt look like she'll fit in it much longer as shes had a growth spurt. I know she can't sit up yet but is there such thing as an inbetween bassinet and normal seat?? Or can i use anything to prop her up so she can see abit better?

Can anyone recommend any suggestions?

Slept through 😭

Me and baby boy slept through his alarm to eat, he now hasn't eaten in 5 and a half hours (feeding now) I feel awful 🥲 he is above his birthweight but only 13 days old. I feel so guilty that I slept through 😔

Car recommendations

Hiya I have a little girl (3) and expecting twins so will need to fit 3 car seats. How do people do it? Do I need a wider car haha?

Mums who have been through all the baby stages

Which stage did you find yourself wishing away the most? Not necessarily which was the hardest bc for example a certain stage might be hard but also really rewarding which counteracts the hard bits. Which stage was overall your least favourite? Please let me know all the details in the comments 🙏 What was hard, what was good?

Pram Walks

My little girl is over 6 weeks old and doesn’t really enjoy going in her pram for too long. Her max. limit is 20mins before she starts crying. I’ve been trying to take her on daily walks just to get her used to it, but have never successfully managed to cross the 20mins limit when I have to take her home to feed/ comfort. I’ve tried putting her in the pram after a feed, or when she’s really sleepy and even when she’s awake, but she never really falls asleep in it no matter when I take her, always awake & looks around and then gets antsy around 20mins mark time. She’s better with car seats and loves the carrier, just not the pram!

Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on what can I do to make her last longer in the pram?
