Husband travels, I stay at home.

My husband travels for work. We have a 3 month old little boy. He’s been away for a month, and this week he was home and now he’s back on the road for a month. I have this like raging angry depression everytime he leaves. My body and mind are so exhausted. I just wanted to post because I need some friends. I’m from Missouri, idk if anyone else is, but if you are let’s be friends! Trying to save for a new vehicle and a down payment on a house as well. 🤸‍♂️just hate the processs.

Hey, I don’t live in Missouri, but have you spoken to him about how you have raging angry depression when he leaves? Maybe this type of lifestyle you have can’t work for longterm but yet be an amazing sacrifice for a future of an easier life for your family’s sake.

A way I can relate to those emotions was when I was postpartum and at sundown I felt anxious and a bit lonely only because we would switch taking turns of caring for the baby, but I just wanted my husband to stay awake with me.

Pros and cons of having a childminder versus nursery

Hi, my baby will be looked after by an ofsted registered childminder as there were no nursery places available near me. I’m wondering about putting baby down for a waiting list for a nursery in the future but childminder seems a bit cheaper too and only has 4 children at a time (including her own toddler). What things helped make people’s decisions over childcare placements? Thank you xx

Me being unreasonable?

Am I the bad one for not jumping over the moon when in laws are coming to visit? Can't I just be ok/tolerate it?
I feel like my husband is putting so much pressure on me and blames me for being in the middle of awkward situations when they're here that indeed when they come to visit I'm not overly excited. But it's like he can't deal with them as his parents and I'm supposed to be the bad one..

Potty training mums - are you all using a travel potty when out & about? 👀

What are you doing when your toddlers need the loo & you're out & about?

I dislike the idea of carrying around wee & poo 😬 but is that my only option? 😂

pulling nappies off

my lo is constantly taking his nappies off, even with pants on he likes to take them off and pull his nappy off, nappies are tight enough etc just starting to get annoying as he took it off and had a wee on the carpet straight away, he’s not 2 just yet so don’t wanna start potty training yet

YouTube kids

Anyone else just fed up with YouTube kids. I have blocked so many channels that are just filled with brain rot and ai generating shit but it feels like these accounts are like a Hydra! You block one and three more just pop up. It feels never ending!! I have set the setting to the youngest option and these stupid videos still show up. I have banned YouTube kids all together now but there is some good educational stuff on there that my son enjoys. This is just a little rant more than anything 😅 just needed to moan a little bit😂

Advice/toy recommendations?

Please don’t judge🙏 - I’m desperately seeking some advice or toy recommendations for my 6.5 month old Velcro baby. She simply won’t play on her own or give me a simple second to myself and I’m honestly going completely mad. I barely get a second to myself to brush my teeth and go to the loo without her whining and crying. I am utterly, utterly desperate and feel completely burnt out but I have no other choice but to keep going as I don’t have any support at all (no family, I feel desperately alone) and husband is hands-off. I’d really appreciate any advice on how I can get through this. Thank you🙏
