Multiple c sections

I’ve had 2 emergency c sections. 1 in 2019 and 1 in 2023 and now that my daughter is almost 3 I’m thinking a lot about having a third but the only thing holding me back is the fear of a third c section. Can anyone who has had multiple c sections share your experience? Or has anyone had a successful VBAC after more than 1 c section?

i’m not sure if every hospital is the same but once you have your second c section you’re not allowed to have a VBAC for any other consequent pregnancies due to the high risks of uterine rupture and you have to wait a specific amount of time before getting pregnant again due to the risks

my sister in law had 4 C sections and she said they got easier because you know what to expect and it was very calm because they become planned

I had an emergency c section with my first, and was hoping to go VBAC for my second but she turned breech at 38 weeks so I had to go in immediately for my planned C section due to the risk of uterine rupture as they wouldn’t be able to turn her so late, and it was such a big difference to my first. you have more time for people to explain things to you and nothings rushed and it just feels like the most magical thing. there was no stress any me and my baby had A LOT of complications post birth with my first, and I had none this time

My doctor told me that they don’t do VBACs after two c sections but if I wanted a VBAC they could recommend a doctor. So you need to make sure your doctor will do a VBAC. I have had 3 c sections. 2 were planned and they were much better than the first which was after hours of labor.

I had two planned c sections. First was due to breech baby. During my second, my OB told me I have a uterine window - a thinning of the uterus. All further babies must be delivered by c section at 36 weeks.

We are happy with two, and even if I wasn’t, I wouldn’t take the risk.

I think it’s pretty rare to getting a thinning of the uterus after just on c section. I have a photo if you wanna see lol

She's here!!!

Little miss decided to arrive at 37+4wks, a few days ago, she's tinyyy weighing in at only 5lbs12oz, but she is doing so well, bless her. FAR less dramatic than her big sister's start 😂😂.

She tried to need intervention, but then she changed her mind at the last minute and shuffled out 😂. Here in under 2hrs, not a bad attempt for a VBAC 🎉❤️ xx

Braxton hicks - uncomfortable!

Is anyone else like oh wow this is uncomfortable when you get Braxton hicks. Like I get them once every few days but when I do I’m like… wow! Imagine what contractions are like?! If this is a ‘warm up’. Anyone else? Haha.

Compression socks after c section

How long after C section did you take your compression socks off? I had a 10 day course of injections which I have now just completed an hour ago. Am I able to take the stockings off and leave them off now?

My midwives when discharging me from the hospital did not tell me anything about it and I can’t remember from my first as it was 3.5 years ago

Can anyone recommend a cake recipe for a 6 month old?

My baby is 6 months next month & for his photo shoot id like to make him some cupcakes which look good for the photos & taste good to baby and adult.
I have the moon and rue weaning book and that has a cake recipe but it’s saying it’s for 1 year old
Thank you!

Anyone else had this after second child ??

I had my second elective c section 20 days ago. I’ve been on antibiotics for 5 days, 2 days left, and when I went to the GP today I have bacteria in my urine, and also she saw how red the external of my vagina is. She also said the catheter has ‘damaged’ my urethra as it’s still inflamed, red, swollen and I do have pain in it.

She sent my urine off due to the bacteria and also took a vaginal swab.

Has anyone else had these symptoms after their babies? What did you have in the end?
