Bleeding 5 weeks post ELCS

My bleeding initially stopped around day 10, after doing the full cycle of colours.
It then restarted, accompanied by a lot of pain, and passed some placenta, and was given 7 days of antibiotics .
Bleeding settled to brown spotting, then back to heavy, clotty dark red within 24 hours of finishing abx.
I'm now 5 weeks post section, heavy bleeding for a week.
Hospital have done a scan and told be everything is fine.
I don't feel like it is, because the bleeding had initially stopped, and it's really heavy now.
Exclusively breastfeeding, so doubtful it was my period returning at 4 weeks pp.
Has anyone experienced similar? Hospital are making me feel like a bit of a nuisance really, and maybe I am overthinking it.

Are you still on the blood thinning injections? Ask your doctor/GP about going off them if you are

I had sort of similar in mine had mostly stopped then started up again really strong, turned out i had an infection.
Ask your gp to do a vaginal swab. I had a scan and everything was fine but i did have an infection show up in the blood/swab

She's here!!!

Little miss decided to arrive at 37+4wks, a few days ago, she's tinyyy weighing in at only 5lbs12oz, but she is doing so well, bless her. FAR less dramatic than her big sister's start 😂😂.

She tried to need intervention, but then she changed her mind at the last minute and shuffled out 😂. Here in under 2hrs, not a bad attempt for a VBAC 🎉❤️ xx

Braxton hicks - uncomfortable!

Is anyone else like oh wow this is uncomfortable when you get Braxton hicks. Like I get them once every few days but when I do I’m like… wow! Imagine what contractions are like?! If this is a ‘warm up’. Anyone else? Haha.

Ready for weaning?

Baby can sit up - but only when assisted. He is very nearly there unassisted and will stay upright for a few seconds, but not for very long. Otherwise, his head control and sitting position is really strong. Is he ready for weaning, or do babies need to be sitting up completely unassisted first? Thanks!! X

Compression socks after c section

How long after C section did you take your compression socks off? I had a 10 day course of injections which I have now just completed an hour ago. Am I able to take the stockings off and leave them off now?

My midwives when discharging me from the hospital did not tell me anything about it and I can’t remember from my first as it was 3.5 years ago

Can anyone recommend a cake recipe for a 6 month old?

My baby is 6 months next month & for his photo shoot id like to make him some cupcakes which look good for the photos & taste good to baby and adult.
