Terrible sleeper

Anyone else got a sleeper as bad as mine?

Put down to sleep around 7:30 after trying for 30 minutes. 30 minutes later awake, takes an hour to settle, another 30 minutes awake, may or may not settle easily. Repeat that until about 10pm. Then awake sitting up, rolling about until gone midnight. Then up 2 or more times again in the night after that.

I think what I am missing most is my evenings here, I have no time for myself or my partner.. ever!? It's full on.

How's the day sleep? Have you tried a later bedtime (radically later perhaps)?

Mine wakes up probably 3 or 4 times but thankfully usually settles quite quickly (boob to sleep). My first was much harder work, woke up loads and was harder to settle back. It got better with age though! X

Day sleep seems ok, still on 2 naps around 40 minutes each.

I would push bed time, but she is acting super tired and seems to want to be asleep, although waking herself through practicing sitting!? Can't be sure. Don't want to creep into over tired realms😂

My first was a lot easier! Always took a while to get to sleep, but once asleep, stayed asleep.

She's here!!!

Little miss decided to arrive at 37+4wks, a few days ago, she's tinyyy weighing in at only 5lbs12oz, but she is doing so well, bless her. FAR less dramatic than her big sister's start 😂😂.

She tried to need intervention, but then she changed her mind at the last minute and shuffled out 😂. Here in under 2hrs, not a bad attempt for a VBAC 🎉❤️ xx

Wishaw hospital

So we’ve been told by our midwife if you get to Wishaw after 9pm to go to the maternity entrance, which is fine, but if you arrive before 9pm to go to “triage”. Where is triage?! Do you go in the main entrance at the front then up to where the scans are? Just trying to be prepared 😅

Ready for weaning?

Baby can sit up - but only when assisted. He is very nearly there unassisted and will stay upright for a few seconds, but not for very long. Otherwise, his head control and sitting position is really strong. Is he ready for weaning, or do babies need to be sitting up completely unassisted first? Thanks!! X

Braxton hicks - uncomfortable!

Is anyone else like oh wow this is uncomfortable when you get Braxton hicks. Like I get them once every few days but when I do I’m like… wow! Imagine what contractions are like?! If this is a ‘warm up’. Anyone else? Haha.

C section

I’m potentially going to be having a C section. However, I’ve got a huge needle phobia and absolutely petrified of the thought of a C section.
I’ve had very mixed comments from people, about what the experience and recovery is like.
Is it as bad as I’m letting myself believe?

is it just me?

so today i wore fitted shorts and no matter where on my tummy they were it just felt pretty painful after say 5 mins of wearing them it happens with jeans too. Including underwear. I feel like the inside stitches are hurting more than the main outside stitch. Anyone else feel this kind of pain does it go away? im almost 9 months PP. Even when my baby steps on that area its really tender. If i use say anything somewhat tight in that area later in the day its painful to use my abs.
