Sleep

Im on night 4. With no sleep. Im due in the first week of August. The heat is not helping. Restless leg, which i take magnesium for. And uncomfortable. Im not sleeping till like 2 or 3 in the morning when my body had enough.
Im so tired. I lay in bed for like half an hour, and then im up and down. And in the end, I give up. Any advice?

Hows your iron? I switched to iron tablets and it stopped my restless legs. Unfortunately I don’t think there are many good ways to avoid bad sleep in this last part, sorry :( we’ve got an evaporative air cooler that does help somewhat but thats about it.

No advice but I feel you 😒 as soon as I hit 31 weeks, everything went downhill. I get such bad restless legs/feet and generally can't sleep until 3am gone most nights. I tie socks round my feet which sometimes takes the edge off. I'm 36 + 1 now and soooo ready for baby to be here. I would take newborn tired over pregnancy tired anyday 🫣😂

Had 3-4 hour sleep for over 2 mo now (35+2 atm). I wonder if it's restless leg, now that I am reading the comments and your post. They only thing that helped is to get naps in during the day whenever I am tired (usually around 5pm), and sometimes I can sleep late on the weekend for about 6 hours instead of 3-4.

HOUSE A MESS!!!

I’m drowning and spiraling! I need help bad… 3bd/2b apartment and I just can’t keep up. I’m tired all the time. Postpartum depression. I got pregnant while in my first postpartum and never completed it. I have a 8 month old and 2 year old … I just want to sleep, so that’s what I do… and wake up everyday to a mess of an house 😣

Compression socks after c section

How long after C section did you take your compression socks off? I had a 10 day course of injections which I have now just completed an hour ago. Am I able to take the stockings off and leave them off now?

My midwives when discharging me from the hospital did not tell me anything about it and I can’t remember from my first as it was 3.5 years ago

Multiple c sections

I’ve had 2 emergency c sections. 1 in 2019 and 1 in 2023 and now that my daughter is almost 3 I’m thinking a lot about having a third but the only thing holding me back is the fear of a third c section. Can anyone who has had multiple c sections share your experience? Or has anyone had a successful VBAC after more than 1 c section?

Am I being dramatic?

I HAD to drink tap water today. I was at my friends and she was out of water. I was sooo thirsty. I ended up getting ice in a cup and drinking from the sink. I cannot stop thinking about it now. 😂

growth scan

ugh so today i asked my ob if ill get a growth scan because everyone else i know seems to have gotten one and got told no. i feel so blessed to be low risk but i really wanted to see baby girl again i haven’t since 19 weeks at my anatomy scan and now im 29 weeks and 5 days. she just measured my belly at 28cm and said thats normal for where i’m at because they give or take 2cm to gestation. i just get worried because baby girl was in the 28% for weight for my anatomy scan over almost 11 weeks ago now and i wanna make sure she’s healthy. i’m about to just put in the extra money and book something with a boutique in a few weeks and get the 3D/4D growth ultrasound but everyone made it seem like i should just get one from my ob lol. anyone else miss seeing their baby? and does ur ob do a standard growth scan low or high risk?
