My son's Hatch is totally dead. We had the 1st gen + with the clock. When did you stop using a sound machine (if you used one at all)? He needs a clock at the least because he knows he can't come out of his room until a certain time in the morning as well as when his quiet time is over in the afternoon. I'm trying to decide if I should just get him another hatch even though I am not a fan of the 3rd gen design. Or if it's time to ditch a sound machine and just go with a standard clock.

We love our yoto player. Works for sound machine and clock PLUS my son also loves to use the cards to listen to his favorite music and read along to familiar stories. It’s a little pricey but a TOTAL win for us. Another pro is you can program the light to change color at a specific time (mine turns green at 7am so he knows he is allowed to come out for the morning)
