Baby Feeding

Hi Mums,
Gave birth to my first by c sec 3 weeks ago and tonight he went from 7pm- 1am without having a feed we are now at 5am and he still hasn’t woke up. When I’ve cried and told my partner that this just doesn’t seem right whilst he’s asleep he legit just thinks our boy is fine and has gone back to sleep it’s like he almost cares more about getting loads of sleep over our sons wellbeing and my initiative!! Has this happened to anyone else where they’re going long stretches just seems odd especially in the heat (bottle fed)

Our little girl is 3 weeks old tomorrow and went from 8pm - 1am. As long as he has gained his birth weight back id try not to worry too much and try enjoy the sleep. Which I know is easier said they done xx

If you think he is lethargic and not eating as normal, it’s best to call 111 and get some advice

My 3 week old baby has just slept from 11-5 and I woke up in a right panic like how has she not woken up in 6 hours for a feed 😅😭 but I just keep thinking well if she was hungry she would have woken up before now! She barely sleeps in the day atm so just assuming she is making up for it through the night

Feeling hopeless, crying my eyes out every night and can’t take this anymore…

My 2.5 year old was an incredibly difficult baby, awake 6,7…8 times a night for about a year. Things plateaued for a while and she was a lovely lovely child, ate well, slept through, so kind and gentle.

Fast forward to now, terrible 2’s doesn’t even cover it. She screams, hits, bites and throws things at me. All. Day. She doesn’t eat ANYTHING, not even her safe comfort foods anymore, she will not go to sleep. It’s taking 3 hours average to put her to bed. I’m eating dinner at 12-1am sobbing through my meal. This is all day, every night. I have gentle parented her, I have kindly disciplined her, firmly disciplined, ignored her, walked away and even gone against my biggest morals and given her a slap on the wrist when she punched me in the eye. I’m at my f*cking whits end and I’m just so depressed and overwhelmed. I genuinely am so patient with anyone and everything but dealing with this day in and day out is making me want to literally run away or in front of a bus.

Video below is after 2 hours of trying to put her to bed and stepping out for 5 mins to gather myself together.

Nappies

First time mum here👋🏼 what nappies is everyone getting or what nappies have you used in the past and found where the best? Currently got pampers but don’t want to stock up if there’s better ones that are slightly cheaper as pampers I find are so expensive 🤦🏽‍♀️❤️ thankyou x

What the sleep ?

I see posts where everyone is worried for waking every 2-3 hours ,i wish that was my case .Baby is 15 weeks and from about two weeks ago her naps are anywhere from 10 -30 min max.

Is hard to get her to nap ,she will fight ,arch and push her legs and cry .At bed time i have to hold her for hours as the minute her bum touches the mattress she is up ,up !!!will only sleep on my or my husband chest and if i want some hands free for a minute i need to put her on her tummy .If i am to put her on her back she is awake in seconds and will start crying .I don’t understand what have changed as she use to sleep well at night in the next to me crib ,on her back from 9pm-1am and from2am -5 am and then sleep till like 7:30-8 am .Im paranoid letting her to sleep on her tummy even though she has a great neck control ,i end up just staying awake scrolling the phone to keep en eye on her so between me and my husband we taking turns but still is incredibly difficult as we have a 3 year old to entertain during the day and we run on such a little sleep .please tell me im not alone and there is light at the end of the tunnel .I simply don’t understand this drastical change and her strong preference for tummy sleeping .

Pregnancy while breastfeeding

Hey mamas, I’m curious! If you were breastfeeding and hadn’t gotten your period back yet, did you end up getting pregnant?

If you did, how did you know? Did you have any symptoms or just take a test? And how long after unprotected sex did you find out?

Just curious to hear everyone’s experiences 😊

Baby crying during bottle feeds

My baby is 5 weeks old and is crying, uncomfortable during feeds. We switched to a comfort formula which hasn’t made any improvement. Never sick but does have silent reflux symptoms

Does anyone have thoughts on what we could do next or if experienced similar ?

Baby falling

My son 8 months LOVES to move around, from crawling to pulling himself up. There’s times where he looses his balance and falls and we’re not always right next to him, like we let him crawl around and he will decide to pull himself up on something then let go and try to balance so there’s definitely times he falls and bangs his head. I basically got called a bad parent for that today. Is it not normal at this age/stage for kids to be falling when pulling up and bonking their head?
