Leaky nappies

Does anyone else have issues with nappies leaking out the back overnight, we’ve been using pampers or pampers premium but have the same issue with both. The nappy doesn’t even seem full it seems to come out the back before it’s been absorbed. I’ve made sure it’s high up the back and tight enough but it still happens 🫠 please help, thank you xxxx

I find that pampers are rubbish, I use Fred & Flo, and never had any leaking issues

I use Rascals for the night and size up, haven't had a leak in ages! And used to have leaks in pampers before discovering rascals x

we’ve been using sainsbury’s and had no issues.

Not part of this group.. but from experience I always had to size up at night and still do now at nearly 3. Also make sure vest isn’t too tight as it squashes the nappy and wee can’t absorb

I always had issues with pampers and even sized up. Leaked every time immediately. I use Costco, huggies, millie moon, honest and cotorie. Huggies has overnight diapers you can get as well.

I think nappies are individual to each baby - I only use pampers as everything else leaked with my little girl

Pampers were yuck for this reason

I found switching to pull ups solved it for me x

We were having issues with leaking overnight too, we switched to rascals and no leaks so far!

We had more leaks with pampers than with any own brand supermarket nappy. Try a couple of other brands and find what works for your baby. We find boots own brand work well, or Asda little ones

How do I explain this to my 3 year old right?

Our neighbour has a child with additional needs, she spends most of the day in the garden, especially on days with nice weather like we've been having recently. (They have their garden done up great for her with lots of activities and waterplay etc, she's always being supervised too. Just before anyone is concerned!)

My 3 year old son and I were out in our own garden today playing football and we could hear the neighbour girl playing in her garden. My son asked me "why is the girl making that noise?" And kept saying "mummy what is that noise?" (I don't know the proper terms but I guess it's like stimming noises maybe?)

I didn't really know what to say, I just explained the girl is happy and playing in her garden like we are. He accepted that and moved on, but is that the right thing to do? Should I have explained more/differently?

Do I have a second baby?

My first and only child is 6 and I’ve been team one and done mainly because my husband is so I’ve just come to terms with it. But all I can think about for the last few months is wanting another baby.

I was talking to a coworker and she said that whilst she loves her second child immensely having a second completely changes everything. One is simple but two is not.

What are your guys honest, vulnerable opinions on having more children? My husband doesn’t want more mainly because I had PPD and we struggled through it.

Toddler sounds like he’s saying the N word.

So my son’s first sentence is “in the car” because he is obsessed with cars. But he says it fast and it sounds like he’s saying the N word and he says it ALOT in public and it feels embarrassing because I don’t want anyone to think that’s what he is saying . If you saw a toddler doing this would you feel like they’re being taught the N word? 😩

Night wakes gone mad

My 7 month old is on wake 6 already tonight (9pm bedtime its currently 2am) l. She used to do 5-6 hour stretches, sometimes longer. 4 months she started stared doing less, and since 6 months, it's gone absolutely mad. She feeds most wakes for ease, but she doesn't need it or even necessarily initiates it, I can get her back down without, just takes a bit longer. I coulr manage with the next to me, just about, as I wasn't getting in and out of bed to put her down, but shes standing now so needed a proper cot, so now every 1-2 hours I'm getting out of bed, feedimg/rocking her, putting her down (not always first time) , getting back into bed, not being able to fall asleep straight away unlike before, then doing it all again and hour later. I'm absolutely exhausted and dealing with my 7 momth old and my 2m5 year old all day without help or nursery, so I get no breaks at all. I don't know how to help to situation as I can't change anything about day sleep schedules as I am absolutely dictated by these children as we live in a flat sp the baby regulary gets woken up by the toddler and then I'm unable to settle her back to sleep, or in unable to get her to sleep at the perfect point as I'm just too busy or my toddler is making noise or having a big emotion. I would happily cosleep (it's what I did first time round with my hourly waker) but we have no space for a bed to cosleep on. I need to figure out the route cause really. I don't even know why I'm writing this out, maybe advice, maybe just moral supprt, who knows 😂

Struggling with nights

I’m really struggling with nights. My baby wakes up at least every 1.5 hrs atm (he only slept 45 mins just now wahh!) and gets so worked up, is calmed by the boob and then gets wind, eventually burps and resettles and it starts again about 45 minutes later. All. Night. Long. I know the heat won’t be helping and he’ll be thirsty but I’m exhausted and needed to vent. I’ve seen pretty much every hour of every night since he was born. He’s my second baby but my first never did this. Any advice?
