Transition to new career?

Any mommy here transitioned to a new career after having 1-2 kids? I’m currently an engineer but want to transition to working from home part time (20 hrs a week) so I can pick up my kids from school in afternoon and make them snacks food/keep house clean. I’m think the insurance industry might work for me. I can study and pass exam and independently open a business to do this.

Everybody keeps saying they want a best friend/mom friend but don't put in the work sometimes. I really want to find that friend but I'm not going to keep double texting people that don't respond to me. I'm still searching for my person. WYA?! 😊

What are some things you had to stop doing or cut back in order to stay being off work to look after your children ?

Relationship change

Does anyone else feel like they’ve lost their best friend (partner) things aren’t the same of course but I miss him even though he’s there.
He’s very tired and irritable, hot with the heat and closed off
