Hi mums,
i'm having a hard time introducing solids to my 6 and a half month old. I exclusively breastfeed, no bottles involved and have been trying for a few weeks to give him solids.
So far he likes fruit, especially banana, peach, melon etc but not a huge fan of savoury things. He just about ate pureed carrot and potato with breastmilk.
is this normal? what have you done to encourage solids? and how did you introduce solids?

6 months (and to be honest a few months after!)is just about exploring food. Mine didn’t put anything near her mouth until 7/8 months to be honest. Milk should still be main source of intake until 1 years old. It’s all fun for now! Don’t stress, he will get there!
