Help!! What chinese food will your toddler actually eat?

Every time we've ordered Chinese food neither of my toddlers really eat it being picky. Its my husbands birthday and his brother is ordering us Chinese for dinner so husband can have sushi. Obviously I want my kids to eat. Suggestions yours will actually eat?!

Rice, noodles (chow mein), prawn crackers, chips, chicken balls.

Maybe fried rice?

Or springrolls

Super picky kid and my husband is Chinese. Whenever we visit my in-laws or make Chinese food we can only get her to eat dumplings, fried rice, and any noodle dish

Lo mein is his favorite, he’s 1 and a half years old, but he’ll also eat crab rangoons (no sauce) if we break them up for him (it becomes like chips with the filling being the “dip”) and he’ll eat fried rice plain or vegetable, and he will also eat either honey chicken or lemon chicken. To be honest though, my son would also eat sushi if you’re willing to hold for him to take bites off of.

Gyoza/pot stickers!

Lo mein is still my daughter's favorite and she's six. She also developed a taste for egg drop soup when she was about 2-3 (which I hate, but her dad loves). And crab rangoon

My six year olds will only eat the rice and noodles still

Spring rolls/gyoza, shrimp, my son is a big fan of tamago nigiri which is just that omelet sushi. Anything where the rice ball sticks together (which is more Japanese than Chinese but since you mentioned sushi)

Noodles , wonton soup, dim sum, dumplings

Anything - rice, lo mein, sweet and sour shrimp or chicken, crab Rangoon, egg rolls, egg drop soup, wontons, very kid friendly choices

Depending on the quality of the chinese, they might be finding it too salty?

Egg fried rice, duck, pancakes is probably a good bet and comes with the salady side bits.

What do you think about giving the unemployed 30 hours free childcare?

I'm personally annoyed at this. If they are unemployed, at home, claiming benefits then they can look after their own children.
My husband and I work our arses off, paying taxes and others can just sit at home and get everything given on a plate! Paid by me, us working people! What are your thoughts?

Is he right? ...

My boyfriend and I clean together for a company I got him into. I recently lost a friend and there was a memorial for it that I was meant to go to but I had an apartment I was meant to clean. There'd be drinking at the memorial, so I called my boyfriend to ask him to go to the apartment and organize the cleaning bag and if he wants to clean it too he can. He was heading home, complaining that he needs to eat and doesn't feel well and that he has 3 hours to get our daughter from camp.

I'm depleted physically and emotional so I ended up missing the memorial because I fell asleep. He took our daughter to work with him so I could go back to sleep, but then suddenly he calls me absolutely raging down the phone at me about how I should have asked him properly to do this job, that I just take advantage of him and that I just wanted the bed to myself when I should have been taking care of our daughter ...

If your toddler (3 years old) pulled down an entire dresser & everything ontop of it what’s your reaction?

their fathers dresser, not even their own.

Unexpected cost I can't get out of

Sibling is getting married in Japan.

I have 2 kids. For me and my partner flights have already cost about £3000.

By time I add on hotels that another £1500.

I haven't even factored in spending money and food out there.

I'm pregnant and will be in maternity leave during this period.
So this is just going to make finances even tighter.

What would you do?

What should I expect her to eat??

With finger foods what am I actually expecting my 7.5month old to eat? We started with purées at 6 months and I am transitioning to BLW but she doesn’t actually eat the finger foods.
She has tried a few things and she is happy to put them in her mouth and occasionally suck it but not chew and swallow. If she does bite a bit off, she moves it around her mouth a little and then spits it out. Is this ok for this age? Do I just carry on offering it until she gets the hang of chewing?

She has tried toast, broccoli, omelette strips & penne pasta

Nursery presents

I have a 3 yr old and 1 year oldm both go to the same private nursery. There are around 6 + staff working in each room and I know they sometimes swap rooms due to ratios.

Thry work with more than their kwyworkers who have changed through the year(s) . So about 20 staff

What can I get as a thank you present (eldest is leaving)? I don't want to buy tat as I know it will get binned and not be appreciated unless it's really nice

I can't afford a bottle of wine each or a decent voucher cos that would be like £100+
