I need a friend, man. 😫

I know the whole point of this group is to make friends or what not but my god I’m so lonely.
I have not had a single friend of my own in nearly 6 years.
The “friends” I did have left me homeless and couch surfing in strangers homes. I didn’t let them go until one of their boyfriends used my homelessness story to get a house of his own so he could cheat on my friend, the whole friend group believed him over me.
All this to say, I’m loyal to a fault despite the backbone I’ve grown and yet still can’t seem to hold onto “friendships”.
Am I the problem here?

Off my chest

I just found out the man I been with for five years, cheated on me throughout the entire relationship. I’ve been emotionally done with him since November however it still sucks finding out I wasted five years with this waste man. That’s all, It’s off my chest now. I’m ready to find myself again.

While pregnant I thought about what I would like to do for the baby's birthday and Christmas, I came from a background where money was tight and these days we got something special. So I remember presents from these days because it was such a special gift. I have seen an idea for a baby's birthday and Christmas which I like to do myself, I think partner is with me because we don't want to go mental on these days, I had people at work that just blew it and how much is actually getting used. A Christmas I had a stocking, a main present and few bits and that was enough, for my birthday it was a main present and few bits. It's up to other parents to decide for their child and I am not criticising people I am just asking for opinions. The way I found was this

Everybody keeps saying they want a best friend/mom friend but don't put in the work sometimes. I really want to find that friend but I'm not going to keep double texting people that don't respond to me. I'm still searching for my person. WYA?! 😊
