Diaper fibers & Boys

Hello. I didn’t grow up with brothers or boy parts. So i have a question. Does it hurt for me to pull the diaper fibers off from around the tip? I have been needing to do it more frequently with these diapers.

I have the same thing happen with my little boy- it does not hurt them to clean it off.

I’ve never had a problem with diaper fibres. To be fair in Australia we have a couple of pretty good brands where there aren’t any issues with that.

Anyway answer to your question, is it stuck on the skin? If not then more than likely not, if the fibres are stuck on the skin like pretty much cemented on there (it happens, my boy sleeps through him pooing in his diaper) then that’s when it will be abit uncomfortable or painful

What diapers are we all using since I cannot handle another blowout💩 and would love suggestions! lol.
I've bought the correct sizing/we aren't in a 'buy a new size' yet but some size 1's run so big and others small i'm over it

Taking one for the team

Our little is sick, it’s been a rough evening. My husband told me to go ahead and sleep in our bed, he’d stay with our kiddo to help him feel more at ease. (Yes, we have a reclining nursery chair, he prefers our floor cushion) Our son being sick is unusual but, my husband taking one for the team is not.

Spit ups

At this point I am convinced that when they made the word happy spitter they made it for my son…when I say he spits a lot I literally mean his clothes and mine getting socked up…he doesn’t seem bothered by it but I am because I think it’s too much during feed or after even after being burped…he is 9 weeks now and I told my ped about it and she said it’s normal nothing to worry about as long as he is gaining well which he is…she claims he eats too quick and he is greedy with food and maybe over feeding which I thought wasn’t possible on exclusively breastfed babies…

I really need some help I feel like I am losing it because it’s just too much at this point

Best Cup for 1 year old transition to Milk

My LO is now 1 years old and she's still drinking her formula from X teat MAM bottle.

I've read that we now need to start putting her formula into an open free flow cup but I'm struggling to find one that is big enough for her feed (240ml) and that isn't too big for her to hold (she has little hands)

Can you recommend the best cup for this process please? - I've seen a munchkin 360 one and a B.Box training cup free flow.

Also any tips on transitioning from formula to milk. She's dairy intolerant so I have Alpro Soy Growing Up milk which is fortified with all the nutrition of milk.

Milk expectations

Calling all mamas with 10+ mo's,

I know milk is the prime source of nutrition in the first year but what does that l look like by 9/10 months? Mine is 7months and on 3 meals a day and my milk supply/his feeding has already dropped. Im following his lead but Im curious as to what it looks like only because he will start nursery in September... do I need to pump for nursery (10mo)?? The teachers seemed to think it was a non issue when I went to the open days suggesting he'd need barly anything by that age
Im EBF
What were yours having at that age?

She’s here and up all night!!!

Had my little girl by planned section today! She is adorable but oh my gosh she is stage 5 Clingon 🤣 she constantly wants to be held… the nurse said it’s normal for second children to want to be closer fed/held on the first night instead of the usual second night people hear about. We will see if this theory holds up….

In the meantime I’m just enjoying the snuggles 🩷🩷🩷
