to have another baby or not

I’ve got a 9 week old girl and I’m so in love, she’s my first baby and I’ve always liked the idea of having two children! My pregnancy however was terrible and I suffered with HG and PGP and bad anaemia so I was quite against the thought of having another and just leaving it as a one and done.

However, I’m thinking of trying for another baby when she turns 3 or 4 years old - unsure if that’s too late or not but I felt it would be an ideal age as she is quite independent and won’t need me too much like she would if she were 1 and by then she’d be at nursery so it gives me some time to relax at home when I’m on maternity leave in the later stages. Just wanted some advice on those who may have that age gap and decided to try around that age! I’m also on the injection contraception so it would be a while before I started to come off it x

C section recovery question

Hi ladies! Quick question hopefully you can help! I had my second baby via c section almost 6 weeks ago. My first c section recovery went really well. My first son was in the NICU for two months and born at 29 weeks. So I had time to heal and rest while he was in the NICU. This time around my recover has been very different. My second baby boy was born at 37 weeks and did not need NICU stay. Once we got home, my incision opened and got infected a week after. I was placed on antibiotics and was allergic to the first two. Finally the 3rd antibiotics started healing my infection. It’s definitely been rough. Finally my incision closed and it’s no longer infected. However, my incision and above still feel really sore. I don’t remember my first c section feeling this way. I was up and going like nothing my first time around. Is this normal almost 6 weeks post c section?
Thank you so much for sharing your experience experiences!

Just can't make a final decision

I am expecting a girl due in 3 weeks. I can't make a decision on her name and its making me quite anxious.
Middle name is Malia (Mar-lee-ah) and surname is Bellamy
I dont "love" any of them but atm choices are...

Indie
Reagen
Jovie
Cleo
Dana

Some suggestions may be helpful as well as thoughts on names I've already thought of.

I have a son called Lennox Tyrae

Cervix is opening a little at a time?

Is this normal? 35 weeks and cervix is already 1 cm dilated. Doctor said it could stay this size for weeks and not to worry, but I worry. I don’t want to have a preemie!
