sleep help!

My partners work alarm always wakes my baby up, for reference it goes off at 6am and he has to have it pretty loud or else he won't hear it. When baby wakes up he has a 2 hour wake window so i'm sat up until 8am then i only manage to get another hour of sleep in and i'm done 😭 I wish he was like me and would wake up to a quiet alarm instantly but please help?? how do i stop this annoying ass wake window?

Make your partner sleep elsewhere

Kick partner out of the room 🤷🏽‍♀️ two against one!

Or have a quiet alarm for yourself and then wake your partner up however you see fit lol you don’t have to be mean but also…

I can feel your pain, especially if your little one isn’t sleeping well at night too. 🫩
What works for us is that I set a quite alarm on my phone because I wake up really easily. Then I wake my husband up and I go straight back to sleep before the baby has a chance to wake up.
it’s definitely worth giving it a try! 🤞💕

Frustrated with comments on your breastfeeding?

Not trying to rant or be negative I promise! 😅

I can’t be the only one whose friends and family comment on their breastfeeding journey.

Of course, I get the “Good job, mama!” comments, and I really appreciate those. But I’ll admit, I’m always caught off guard by the negative or questioning ones.

“Is she getting enough?”
“You have to feed her a lot!”
“Are you sure she’s not just giving up?”

For context, my baby is happy, healthy, and gaining weight really well. Yet people still seem to question whether I’m making enough milk for her. Why is that?

I’m trying not to let these comments get to me, but they honestly feel a little inappropriate. Like… how dare you?! 😂 I would never question another mom about whether she’s making enough milk for her baby.

Has anyone else dealt with this? How do you respond without letting it get under your skin?

Clear spit up

I have a 8.5 week old and she sometimes spits up clear liquid. Anyone know why this is or what it is?

She is frequently spitting up some lumpy milk too, is this normal or ?

Baby suddenly stopped breastfeeding - HELP!

He fed no problems this morning after a long stretch overnight, had 2 more normal feeds after but from 2pm he’s only fed for 26 mins total and that has been tricky. We gave him his usual bottle this evening which he took but he just screams when I put him to the breast!

I’ve tried skin to skin, he’s laying on me now but he’s gone to sleep. Never had this with my first, she was a boob monster!

Anyone got any advice on how to resolve this, or what to do in the interim?

Bd silent treatment

I told my baby dad that I’ve been struggling and I’m overwhelmed and I need more support and he said that me being overwhelmed, overwhelmed him and that I’m too mean and he’s been ignoring me for over a week now. He was really shitty to me during my pregnancy and started doing better and now he’s back to his BS.

Hair loss 💔

Every time I move my hair I swear I hear it snapping. I knew about the hair loss, but not the sound effects. Can anyone relate, Anyone else's postpartum hair doing this? 😅
