Baby is very quiet today

Went to triage last week for reduced movements, they put me on the monitor for a full hour even though baby passed in the first 20 minutes regarding heart rate etc because I only recorded two movements in that hour as I just wasn't feeling him move. They give me the choice of staying in for 24 hours for monitoring but i declined and the past few days he's moved fine.

Today he's back to quiet again, has barely moved all day apart from a faint stretch that I couldn't feel but could see through my belly, I'm devating going in again but it'll be my second period of reduced movements and I'm unsure what they'll actually do other than monitor again and send me back home.
At what point in going in frequently for the reduced movements would they look at intervention?! I'm 37+3 so not sure if baby is just out of room but I worry all day about movements and wether or not to be seen

They'll probably do the same but it's better to be safe than sorry. I'd ring them up x

I was 37+3 yesterday and had the same! Have you tried eating/drinking then laying on your left side for 30ish mins to see if you feel baby move??

This unit the reason mommy couldn’t deliver vaginally. He was so chunky wtf. Now he look like a cute lil bean. But fuck I definitely dodged a bullet for my puss not being able to push out a baby his size but also this recovery sucks ass. My boobs are four times bigger; just feelin like a fresh helium balloon and my body feels like it’s getting worse certain days and somewhat better on other days. This is the most bipolar shit my body ever been through. God my first birth was so easy 😭

42 weeks pregnant today!

Officially classed as ‘post term/prolonged pregnancy’. Has anyone here birthed post 42 weeks spontaneously?

Hey everyone 👋🏼

So at my 28 week midwife appointment she measured me and was on 97th centile, at 30 weeks again measured on 97th. Had a growth scan yesterday at 30+3 and they said I was on 17th centile?? Which one is more accurate as that’s quite a big difference? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Short legs

Hi! Has anyone been told there baby’s femur bone is measuring small?

My baby boy is measuring in the 49th percentile but his femur bone is measuring in the 8th percentile. I am 23 weeks pregnant and all his other bones and measurements are normal but I’m stressing! I have to have another scan at 28 weeks

Has anyone else had this? Or similar?

If you've been induced/will be do you call in or do they call you?

At my hospital I am given a time to call and then they tell me if they have a bed or not. If not they give me a new time to call back and check amd the process continues until they have space.
I've seen other people say the hospital calls them. Not entirely sure if they do a similar process of calling every so many hours for that.

I think either way makes sense. My hospital it frees up staff for other tasks, the other way there's potentially less wasted time on the phone because they can just call when they are ready.

The things I think about since they told me to call back at 9. Lol
