If you were aiming for a VBAC, how many weeks pregnant did you have your consultation appointment?

Immediately at my midwife booking appointment I told the midwives then that I wanted a VBAC, they told me I would have a consultation around 28 weeks. At my 16 week appointment I brought it up again (different midwife) and she told me it would be around 32 weeks. When I had my 28 week midwife appointment, she told me it's usually 36 weeks (which seems very late to me) and said if I didn't have an appointment letter by 34 weeks she would follow up. Obviously I don't want this to be last minute because I want to know my chances and options without everything being rushed if I CAN'T have a VBAC. This pregnancy has been stressful enough, having last minute changes would just make things 10X worse. So just wondering when everyone had their consultation appointment? When I looked online it said between 16 and 28 weeks then a final one at 32-34 weeks 😭

Is this a bloody show or am I bleeding?

Maybe tmi but I was having what I thought was Braxton hicks last 2 days but more intense last night then went to toilet had bit of blood. More this morning. I'm due up in hospital for a scan today anyway as baby was transverse at last scan. Don't really remember bloody show last time. This is baby num 4. Husband in England for work and not due home to late tomorrow night so worried he will miss birth. Pains have stopped now apart from bit of period cramps

What should I do?

I was really hoping for a natural birth but went for a scan at 37 weeks and he’s estimated to be 8.5lbs currently. They said if I carry on to 40 weeks, he’ll be over 11lbs. They’ve talking about induction and c- section but I didn’t want either but I also know if I decline, he’s probably going to be too big to push out naturally anyway. I’m at a loss here 😩

Any thoughts on c-section vs vaginal?

Hi all,

I know it might be early to make a decision on this, but what do you all think about c-section vs vaginal delivery? I’ve read on Reddit about both and have talked to a few folks.
Do you ladies have chosen? Any preferences?

Exhausted

Anyone else just absolutely exhausted from the minute they wake up? I’m going to bed at 8pm getting 10 hours sleep and still feel completely dead all day! Is this normal? I’m 8 weeks 5 days
