Vbac

Pleaseeee ladies can I have some advice from anyone who’s tried a vbac if it’s something you would recommend or do you wish you had another c section? I’m terrified of giving birth vaginally but I really don’t want the c section recovery again with a toddler

My first birth ended up with forceps he had a big head . Second was an induction at 36 weeks and I managed to pushed her out .

I think it’s totally a personal decision, I went for a vbac and ended up in a semi elective c section (20 hours into labour), if I’d have known it ended in a section I’d have gone for a planned one but I wanted the natural birth experience (unfortunately didn’t get it), but recovery wasn’t too bad with a toddler I’d say around a week / 10 days after was a bit more manageable but I wonder if it was a planned section the recovery would have been ever better 🤷‍♀️

Hugo, wanky or ok?

Hey,

I would love your help. I have my girl name but am in a pickle when it comes to a boy name we’ve chosen.

I’m Australian and my husband is Irish. The baby will be born in London, not sure where it will grow up long term but it will be one of the above.

I adore the name Hugo. My husband took some convincing but is now on board.

However! Since deciding, the reaction has been that it’s ‘upity’ ‘wanky’, ‘linen boy vibes’ and signals ‘social reaching’! I was shocked - after some research it seems in Europe it’s a pretty chill normal name, which was my interpretation, but potentially in Ireland / UK that’s not how it’s perceived.

It’s really spooked me, and totally turned my husband off.

Any help would be much appreciated - is Hugo considered a wanky name?

It’s my 40th birthday party on Saturday. I still have the dress I wore to my 16th birthday, so I tried it on and it fits (a bit snug).

Birthday

Today is my birthday. I don't really have many friends or any family here in this state, except my kids & boyfriend. We can't afford to do anything for my birthday, except a cake. So, I was wondering if I could get some birthday cheers on here...... please 🙏

Phoning MAU

Does anyone else feel bad phoning midwife assessment unit, phoned up for reduced movements and I just feel bad like I’m wasting their time and then I’m worried when I get there they are going to be annoyed at me!

Driving post C-section

I know rule is to wait till 6 weeks check up in order to start driving, but anyone started earlier and did you reach out to midwife or gp to get signed off earlier? Also is that just being signed off by word during the check up or any paperwork to say you can drive again?
