Just wanted to know what people think the most difficult stage of taking care of a baby is? Which week/stage or growth?

I honestly think every stage is hard for different reasons, I can’t necessarily pin point one I found harder than others, but I do find the 21 month mark easier in a lot of ways! I think newborn to 18 months is just a constant rotation of something new that is difficult!

Toddlers are harder 😅😮‍💨

For me as a first time mum, it was the first couple of weeks. When the reality of parenthood hits you and at the same time you are trying to recover and establish breastfeeding. Not that the rest is easy though…

Yeah I would say the toddler stage but yet every child is different

For me, my newborns were easy. It’s when they started running they became a real handful. Eyes on the back of your head, bangs heard when you’re in the shower, “what’s that in your mouth?!”

Worried mum 4 month Baby

My baby girl hasn't had a poo for the past 18 days. I've taken her to the GP and they've assessed her thoroughly. They said she's perfectly fine, felt her tummy not hard or anything, and prescribed lactulose, which I've been giving her, but she still hasn't had a poo.

She's feeding really well, has plenty of wet nappies, seems happy, and otherwise looks absolutely fine. The doctor has told me to just keep giving the lactulose because they can't find anything wrong with her.

I also mentioned it to my sister inlaw, and she said it can be normal because sometimes babies use all of the milk they drink, so there's very little waste. That did reassure me a little, but I'm still worried!!!

Every day I keep thinking something might be wrong, even though she seems completely fine. Her farts smell really strong, but she still doesn't poo.

Has anyone else's baby gone this long without a poo? If so, what happened? I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences because I'm feeling quite anxious.

Bottle feeding

My little one is 11 weeks old and bottle fed, my health visitor said that she should regularly feed between 3-4 hrs but lately she's been going longer then that despite our efforts, she will just refuse to the bottle. Is this normal? I'm worried this is going to effect her weight gain because she has already dropped a centile recently especially since she doesn't always drink over 100ml

First time mum - 3 week old

My little girl has wake windows lasting longer. What can I be doing with her now? I sing, talk and use black and white cards. I’m just wondering if I should be doing anything else?

Thank you ☺️

Swaddle sack recommendations

Does anyone have any swaddle sack recommendations?

My 10 week old has outgrown the small Love To Dream swaddle up. He loved it as he could have his hands nearby his face. We’ve tried the medium size but there’s way too much room in the arms - it’s not calming his movements at all and he constantly wakes himself up.

At the moment he’s using a Tommee Tippee Grobag, but his arms tend to fall down in the sack so he becomes uncomfortable and wakes up.

Would be grateful if anyone had any recommendations 🩵

Any recomendations on what to use for cradle cap on a 6 month old please?

I have used a couple of over the counter ones from boots, the oil and the shampoos and not budging. I have used dentinox and kokoso. Thanks

Postpartum Visit

Felt like my OBGYN (who on all accounts is great) was pretty quick with my postpartum/6-week checkup. She offered me birth control, asked if i was breastfeeding, checked my tears/stitches, had me fill out the depression screener 10 questions then said see ya next year for your annual pap.
Am I missing something regarding maternal care?? Is this just how it is?? In and out and on to the next I guess 🤔😐😮‍💨
