Do you know what centile they were on? If baby is under 10th, they'll likely bring your scans forward to every 2 weeks. If baby drops centiles, they will likely recommend induction early term but you dont have to accept, of course.
Some women just make small babies so it could be absolutely nothing to worry about!
What you want to see is baby staying around the same centile over the next few scans. It's big drops or rises in growth that can be indicative of issues (I say 'can' because the margin of error in growth scans is pretty big, so they do need to be taken with a pinch of salt).
My first steadily dropped centiles throughout my pregnancy from 45th and was born on the 7th, small but perfectly healthy. This baby has dropped from 30th to 7th (currently 29 weeks) and I'm not worried. Just means they'll keep a close eye ☺️

It’s only an estimate and i would take the information with a pinch of salt. With my daughter they said she was big throughout my pregnancy, around 8-9lb and was suggesting a C-section. I had her at 39+3 and she was 6lb10.
I’m currently having growth scans with this baby and my one on Tuesday they said baby is measuring a week ahead currently..as long as you & baby are fine I won’t stress x
