My husband and I had a recent debate about the best (and right) way to eat Ramen noodles. I grew up eating them as a soup, cooking them just until the noodles went limp so they were still a bit chewy, he cooks them until the water is pretty much gone making it more of a stir fry with super soft noodles. Which is your favorite style? What do you think is right? Just for fun lol.
In my defense I told him even on the package it shows it as a soup 😝😂

Soup with more soft noodles than Al dente. Has to have Thai peanut sauce in it.

Like stove top ramen?
I cook the noodles somewhere between al dente & soft, and I take it off the stove & dump out most (not all) the water before putting it in a mug & adding the seasoning packet
I’ve never seen somebody cook ramen on the stove until all / most the water evaporates

I do both ways, if I feel like some sipping, I’ll do soup. If i just want straight up noodles, I’ll remove all the water
