I think the scariest thing about being a stay at home mom with no support system, no family or friends is if you guys break up you have no money, no house and no where to go so then you just become homeless.
Something that has been weighing on me heavily since me and my partner are not doing good for quite some time now.

I totally get this:
I am now finalizing my divorce with my husband. He was very neglectful as a husband and a father… and also abusive towards me which was the reason why I left him. I was staying at home since I was 30 weeks pregnant and he knew I was trying to live off of the money I had left over.
I had over 3K in my bank account. A lot of it I had to use to pay for my student loans and also for food for my bird and my dog at the time. And for groceries. We were doing fine on my end because I knew how to budget out of both of us.
But then before I had my daughter, my soon to be ex-husband started using my money to get DoorDash food. That was a maximum of $60 per week. he would go to work and use our shared DoorDash account and use my card a couple days a week which resulted in $40 purchases.
I kept telling him repeatedly to stop using my card because I needed the money that was on there and he told me that it was my responsibility for groceries and for food so I told him…
