My baby has always been a poor sleeper (as in hard work to get to sleep) the easiest way now is in the car. She is getting tired in the mornings still about 3 hours after waking (9:30 ish) she’ll then have a long nap, and then that means she gets tired again around 3/4pm which is obviously too late for a nap. If it’s closer to 3 I’ll try to get her to sleep but she often won’t . She’s then moaning all evening and we end up going to bed at 5:30 which feels too early!!
Any advice please or anyone in the same boat?
I’m kinda like waiting until she drops to 1 nap but I feel she does still need that morning nap

Cap the first nap at 45mins max so shes tired enough for an earlier afternoon nap. Mines transitioning to 1 nap atm and was doing the same a few weeks ago. Dont let 2nd nap go past 230 if possible

Our LO is a pretty rubbish napper, and will quite often skip naps, especially if she's at nursery.. we try to still stick to a 6-6.30pm bedtime. We also don't let naps go past 3pm.

We were doing,
Wake up 6:30/7am
10:30-11:30am nap 1..
2/2:30pm - 3/3:15 nap 2. Won’t let her sleep later than 3:15pm
Goes to bed at 7:30pm
We have just switched to one nap, 12/12:30- whenever she wakes up.
I try to keep the bedtime 7:30pm.. unless it’s a really rubbish nap and then I’ll bring it forward

Agree with capping 1st nap and then also capping 2nd so there’s a cut off before bed (depending on when bed is). We find that definitely helps
