DO YOUR TODDLERS EAT THE WHOLE EGG?

Hi moms ๐Ÿ˜Š

Do you offer your little ones the whole egg, just the yolk, or just the egg white?

My 15-month-old has recently started showing interest in eggs, and today he ate a whole boiled egg (cut into small pieces). I'm so happy because he never liked eggs before. When he was younger, he vomited after trying them twice, so I stopped offering them for a while.

I think seeing me eat eggs every morning may have helped (I eat 5 boiled eggs every morning ๐Ÿ˜‚). Now he's suddenly interested and seems to enjoy them.

For those with toddlers around this age, do you serve the whole egg or only certain parts? How often do your little ones eat eggs?

How do you prepare eggs for your toddlers? Any yummy toddler-friendly egg recipes or tricks that make them enjoy eggs even more?

Thank you! โค๏ธ

Preschooler asks if Disney princess (Elsa, Ariel, ect) are real. Are you ruining the fun and saying no? Or lying?

My 4 year old has been very into asking if things are real. We talk about how magic isnโ€™t real and now sheโ€™s asking if Elsa is real. She loves Elsa and we have seen her at princess party things.

I ultimately asked her what she thought and she pieced together that since Elsa has magic, she isnโ€™t real. Iโ€™m a little worried that I have taken the fun out of princesses. ๐Ÿ˜…

In a pickleโ€ฆ

MIL fell out with us since Motherโ€™s Day (March 2026) because she said my LG is 6 months old and sheโ€™s still not had her on her own. She asked if we donโ€™t trust her or something in which I replied not really because you havenโ€™t show me the confidence you can look after her. (Bearing in mind, she comes once every 10 days and stays for an hour at most, never offers to change her nappy when sheโ€™s around and doesnโ€™t give her bottle. Basically knows nothing about her. When she was 4 months she told me to lie her in the bath to let her splash). I havenโ€™t spoken to her since March after she stormed out, but in the mean time my husband went to speak to her about what happened and cut a long story short sheโ€™s blaming me for everything and now has asked my husband to pick our LG to go her house without me. Iโ€™ve said to husband if she wants to come and see her she can come to ours, if she doesnโ€™t agree then I will go with them to MIL house. What would you do in my shoes?

October 2023 Babies - Starting School

Hey mamas,

Hope you're all doing okay & haven't yet passed out with the British heat we've been getting recently ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚

My daughter will be 3 this coming October (๐Ÿฅนwhere๐Ÿ˜ญhas๐Ÿ˜ญthe๐Ÿ˜ญtime๐Ÿ˜ญ gone?!๐Ÿ˜ญ)

I'm wondering, if mamas with kids around the same age, have you started looking at/applying to schools yet?

What are the first steps that I need to take?

The idea of it all is very overwhelming & I don't know where to start ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿซช

Partner Rant

Why do I feel so angry? He is a great dad but crap partner.
In my eyes he puts himself first and his needs, gym everyday 630am then goes straight to work. (which in the 2 years we have been together he has NEVER been to the gym). Today has gone for an all day tattoo session he works mon and fri 9-5 so weekends are what I class as family time. He wonโ€™t even offer to get up with the baby to give me a a lay in, Iโ€™ve mentioned it but every time I do it becomes an argument and we go back normal. He also has a child from previous relationship so we have him every other weekend and he is pre teen so doesnโ€™t want to do anything so we get dictated by him on what we do on his weekends which my partner just allows. Along with the attitude and disagreements that I have to just grin and bear.

I feel like I have to beg for him to spend time with his baby and me. When he is home he is on his phone or moaning he tired ALL THE TIME.

I love him and I really want to make it work but at the same time I feel like I am being taken for granted in my own home.

Advice please ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

How many meals a day is your LO having?

Just wondering when to make the leap from 2 to 3 meals a day at this point (9 months). Whenever we have tried a 3rd meal one of the others tends to fail ie not as much interest or consumption.
