Braxton hicks

I see so many things about braxton hicks being painful/uncomfortable but I’ve just never experienced that before? when I get braxton hicks my bump just feels more full if that makes sense? Like a bloated feeling! I don’t get any pain or severe discomfort from it.

sometimes I don’t even notice it’s happening until I poke my stomach and I’m like “oh, that’s rock solid”😅🤣

What were/are braxton hicks like for you???

C-Section recovery

Did anyone else suffer a couple days after the c-section? Im on day 3 of my recovery and my whole body is suffering. Climbing off the couch is a 10 minute process. Getting out of a bed is close to 15. Why is my body aching like this? Im still waiting on the pharmacy for the rest of my meds (the ones that matter I already have).

Birthday parties

As a parent would or do you think Sunday is a bad day to have a party? Especially when it’s not the school holidays. Would or do you prefer a Saturday so that it’s not such a rush on a Sunday to get ready for the week ahead and of course school & work etc the day after.

Only thinking as my boys birthday will be on a Monday so now I’m thinking will it be a bad idea to have it on the Sunday😅🤣

Struggling to walk

I’m 36 weeks pregnant, and I’m struggling to physically walk. I can only do one lap of a block then end up having to rest as baby is SO low it’s causing me pain. I’m usually really fit and healthy so finding it fustrating especially with a toddler! Anyone else finding the same? I feel like this baby is going to come out soon 😂

Next time someone tells me I look like I’m about to pop I’m gonna tell them I’m not pregnant cause that shit is so rude.

No more context necessary.

Mums with chronic fatigue. How do you manage?

I've got no idea what is happening to me but I believe it was happening way before I was pregnant with my almost 2 year old. I get patches of extreme fatigue...if I do any cardio exercises I am exhausted for hours or days afterwards...even 15 mine on the exercise bike last night after he went to bed has meant I'm absolutely shattered today and I feel totally depleted
Doctors have taken my blood numerous times and things just come back within range and then they discharge me.
A private blood assessment indicated low ferritin but nothing else flagged up.
I want to get back to a healthy weight and body shape but all my energy goes on surviving and taking care of my toddler every day and night. I cant afford to lose anymore energy....
Any suggestions or has anyone been through this?

Early scans

Those who have had early scans, how far along were you when you saw a yolk sac? I had a scan at 5+4 recently bc of some bleeding and they were very happy with my gestational sac, I have a second scan next Thursday to check I've grown a yolk 😂 I'm very aware that if there's no yolk next week it might be a blighted ovum but I'm staying positive! How far along did you see a yolk or even a tiny heartbeat?
