I've got no idea what is happening to me but I believe it was happening way before I was pregnant with my almost 2 year old. I get patches of extreme fatigue...if I do any cardio exercises I am exhausted for hours or days afterwards...even 15 mine on the exercise bike last night after he went to bed has meant I'm absolutely shattered today and I feel totally depleted
Doctors have taken my blood numerous times and things just come back within range and then they discharge me.
A private blood assessment indicated low ferritin but nothing else flagged up.
I want to get back to a healthy weight and body shape but all my energy goes on surviving and taking care of my toddler every day and night. I cant afford to lose anymore energy....
Any suggestions or has anyone been through this?

Is all your other blood work ok - iron, B12? When I was pregnant these as well as the ferritin were all really low. I ended up having B12 shots and an iron infusion.
Might sound daft, but if you go back to the doctors, really push for your symptoms - I feel like doctors dismiss women a lot of the time, like somethings wrong, and as a doctor they need to help figure out what’s wrong and listen.

Hey, sorry you are going through this. I have gone through the same issues and also had low ferratin recently. Finally getting somewhere with new dr. Feel free to message me if you want to chat.

Chronic fatigue is brutal and so commonly dismissed, especially among women. Do you have the actual results for your blood test? Just so you can check as the range for iron is huge so you could have low iron but still be within the bracket that GPs view as 'normal' but normal should be treated differently for women anyway given our cycles etc!
I have POTS and hypermobility so have been having fatigue flare ups for 10 years, neither show up on bloods and only just been given a reason for it! Can't tell you how much blood the NHS have taken from me over the years and every time with no result 😂 it's super frustrating to not be taken seriously (as much as I hate it) they tend to listen better if you say "my partner has noticed this has been affecting xyz" and "my partner thinks I could be unwell with ...". Instead of "I think I have..."
I hope you get some answers and decent treatment soon! You're doing an amazing job coping with fatigue and taking care of a toddler at the same time 🩷
