Your car seat should have a weight limit on it once they hit that weight or they get too tall and outgrow the car seat that they have that’s when you should switch over

Agree with above. We did around 1 for both our kids because they a weren’t really sleeping when we left the house so I didn’t need them in it to put into the stroller and let them sleep. They were also getting too heavy for me to carry around. So we got a normal car seat to just take them in and out of the car.

I highly recommend evenflo 360

I got my son a new car seat at 9 months old he was a chunky boy so the carrier was to small for him by then and then for my daughter we got a grow with me car seat so she could so she could be in from newborn till time for booster seat she actually still has it lol

my new born car seat maxed at 25lbs so i got a 360 style so it can grow with him and i don’t have to continuously worry about weight and upgrading car seats

Its usally when they are over the weight limit of the carseat. It should have a sticker on the side that has the weight limit

You can get it now get the graco tri ride i changed my daughters at 8 months she was a big baby but that one goes from newborn to booster‼️

While the weight limit is important, so is height. If there is less than an inch from the top of their head to the top of the seat’s shell, it is time to replace.

We just got the evenflow all4stages slim. Only because we got into an accident and needed to get a new one. Otherwise wait to atleast a year if you can. My son is also super tall, so we would have had to change it soon anyway
