My daughter had recently turned 2 and the change in her behaviour is coming so difficult. She had always been quite a sassy little girl but over the last 2 months she has become quite spiteful - hitting, pushing, biting. She shows so much frustration in listening, sharing and being told what to do - she even bites herself. I've tired the gentle approach but it doesn't seem to even go in. I've tried the time out method and she listens for 0.5 seconds and then it's back to her normal behaviour.
Any advice?

Not at all!x

Honestly so many kids go through this phase it’s quite normal for her age just keep doing what you’re doing, put on some shows reinforcing sharing or using kind hands. Also look at books showing this too there’s many around. Not sure about biting herself though 🥲 perhaps talk to the health visitor about this part?
It really is a learning curve for them and she will get through it x

This is completely normal and development that’s why they say terrible 2s I used to think it was a joke until I went through it and it came again at 3, he’s grown out of it now at 4. It’ll pass just have to make sure you are disciplining though (time out, naughty step) stay consistent even if it doesn’t seem like it’s working, so it doesn’t become a permanent behaviour and that she thinks it’s ok. Good luck it is difficult at this age x

My daughter is the same way 2 years and 4 months old and it seems to just be getting worse before better but that’s what they say right ???😵💫😵💫 She has had a bit of a change with having a new baby to share the house with but she was acting like this before he got here . We try to take her out by herself and do things with her. I guess we will see from here 🥴🥴🥴
