Toddler asking for food all day long

I am genuinely getting concerned about how often my child asks for food.
It can be as soon as 15 minutes after a meal and she will be asking for lunch or a snack.
It doesn't matter what she has - carbs, meat, cheese, fruit, yogurt - she never seems full up?!
She will keep asking for a snack continuously until I give her something.
It feels like she's asking out of habit but she will always eat whatever I give her.

How about protein? Mine has an egg every morning followed by cereal and that's helped but she does seem to always be hungry! I've set her up a snack cupboard where she can help herself, but it's not stacked with endless snacks, it's mostly fruit. If she knows I've got little cakes in the house she would absolutely keep asking for a snack until she gets one because she likes them rather than because she's hungry. So if all that's left is cucumber (I've made cards for fridge items that she can exchange šŸ˜‚) she's less likely to keep nagging because while she thinks it's OK she doesn't love it! So I'd say as long as the snacks are mostly healthy and she's active I wouldn't worry about it! Some just have big appetites!

I want another child but can’t do it 😢

I need to rant.
Every year we say next year.
But we just keep getting tired and tired.
Our nights become earlier.
Husband and I are too tired to hang out.
We have a 3 & a half year old daughter. Whom we adore.
The amount of exhaustion we have from her constantly telling us to look, how fast she wants to show us something from one thing to another, the talking.
We are great parents and know what we are doing, we tell her when it’s time for quiet time but we are dealing with a very energetic kid.
She’s in day care but we still can’t recover.
Do you believe that?

Free babysitting šŸ¤ØšŸ˜‘

Is my husband too naive to get these messages from women? It's the second woman offering my husband free babysitting for our kids from knowing him for a couple days at work. He comes home saying that he has this new colleague and what they talked about and oh and by the way she offered to babysit for us for free if we need. I feel gross. So you're really telling me that after a whole day's work shift you're ready to go to some strangers home watching 3 kids under 3 for bloody free?
I just brought that up to my sister in law and she told my husband, are you dumb to realize? 😭
Like what goes through your head even to meet a colleague at work who is clearly married and has three little kids to move on to him in such a sneaky way. It happened now at his business workplace and like half a year ago it was a different girl at his second job.

I think I married one of the most toxic men!!

My husband is soo toxic and it’s so annoyingly confusing. He’s loyal, a provider, hard working, committed to his family (me and the kids) but on the flip side this man has never paid me a compliment he finds it soo hard to say something nice to me… (he says he’s a doer not a lover boy sweet talker) but that’s not what I’m asking for I just think it’s normal to at least say well done, I’m proud of you, here give me a hug, you look nice today, you’re so good at…. Anything!!! But no just can not bring himself to do it. But to critic oh he can go on and on on things I haven’t quite done right.. always takes an opportunity to give feedback or criticism but never a word of encouragement.

I’ve tried talking to him but I realise this is just who he really is. At the start I never noticed this he was so lovely to me made me feel beautiful and seen and desired now I honestly question if he even likes me… when I ask him do you even like me he just laughs in my face and calls me dramatic.

To him the fact that he is loyal and committed to the family should tell me all that I need to know but I don’t know I just find it so weird how you can love someone and not uplift them.

Has anyone experienced this?! And please I don’t want any of the ā€˜no I can’t relate my husband is amazing’ comments. I’m soo happy for you but I just want to hear from those who relate of have experienced this in the past.

… help

OK so my son is 7, I got fuc**** AMBUSHED tonight by my parents because of the way I’m raising my son, he can be sarcastic he can joke he can be serious he knows everything he’s such a smart kid! But they keep saying the way I’m raising him he’s gone get beat up because he’s ā€œsensitive ā€œ or ā€œ feminineā€ like… I just don’t understand they made me feel like absolute šŸ’©. Keep in mind he didn’t have a father figure in his life till he was 4 so he’s always been raised by women so he still knows the ā€œ feminineā€ ways you know? My parents made me feel like I wasn’t raising my baby boy right… ā˜¹ļø I don’t know what to do.

Apartment pool

My daughter and I recently started going to our apartment pool with a few other moms and their kids. The funny thing is, our pool was always completely empty before. For months, nobody used it.

Now that the weather has been nice and a few moms have started bringing their kids, there’s suddenly an older man who is there every single day, all day. He sits alone in the same corner wearing sunglasses and a big sun hat, so you can barely even see his face. I’ll check the pool, see him there, come back two or three hours later, and he’s still sitting in the exact same spot. It happens every day.

My partner keeps telling me, ā€œJust go. Who cares if he’s there?ā€ But I don’t think he understands the pattern. It’s not that someone happens to be using the pool at the same time. It’s that the pool sat empty for months, and now that moms and little kids have started using it, this man is suddenly there from morning until evening every single day.

Maybe it’s completely innocent, but as a mom, I’m just not comfortable taking my baby to the pool alone while a man sits in the corner watching the pool for hours. It really sucks because I want to enjoy the pool with my daughter, but instead I find myself avoiding it.
