Am I crazy?

So I’m currently 9w+6 with my third, and today I went in for my first scan. I should note I’ve never been to this ob before due to my previous ob’s practice closing. I was horrified. My appointment was at 1:15 and I didn’t get called back until 1:55. Then the ob I was scheduled to see was too busy and they sent in a midwife. Then instead of doing an internal ultrasound like I’ve gotten done my previous two pregnancies they did an external one just on the belly despite the fact they asked me to get naked from the waist down. I even asked if the image would be more clear with an internal ultrasound and she goes “yeah probably”. They also only looked at the baby from one angle, and I’m freaking out because there looks like there could be another sac underneath the sac pictured. I’ve never had an ultrasound look like this. It could just be that their machine is old, but still. Does anyone else see what I’m seeing or am I just being crazy?

I see it try going to a clinic that does free testing , just so you can have another ultrasound done . You don’t have to tell them you already seen a ob . All free pregnancy testing clinics are different since the one i went to did the ultrasound same day and the one i helped my step sister go to i believe didn’t do it on same day . For both pregnancies that she both lost.

I would go get a second opinion at a different OB

I'd get a second opinion and hopefully if this is how you are at only 9 weeks I'd look for another OB.

I definitely see it too!! Please go get double checked by a different OB that actually cares.

Cute German boys names - mission impossible!

So my husband is German and we are having twin boys. We'd like to honour the German side of them with German middle names but are struggling to find ones that aren't so harsh sounding. There are some we like, but know people well who have them and I don't want to name them the same as/after people (Sebastian/Nils/Mats all love and all out). So, your mission, if you choose to accept it...

How long did you wait to take your baby out?

Where I'm from, babies don't usually go out until much later. Personally, I'm waiting until he's three months old to take him out in public.

Give main birthday cake out?

At parties do you expect the main cake to be given out in party bags or to be eaten there?
Ive been to quit a few party's now and after the child blows out the candles the cake is put away and taken home and then other cakes given out or none!
My daughters 5th birthday is coming up and im planning on taking home and having cupcakes made for children to take home.
My thoughts are having cakes professionally made are very expensive and its doubtful the children are going to appreciate the expensive cake, which im guessing why others did this!
Thoughts?

Induction due to over 95th percentile baby

I’ve just had my routine 36 week scan and have been told baby is measuring large. I’ve been told I need an induction. This wasn’t my plan and I really don’t want to be induced, but they have scared me with the risks of waiting (with no stats or evidence). I’ve been told no extra scan to check on baby in a couple of weeks either. I’m wondering if I should get a 2nd opinion or a private scan in a couple of weeks. I’ve heard these scans are very inaccurate, so really feel confused what to do. For ref I was hoping for a spontaneous water birth with just gas and air. Of course I know things don’t always go to plan, but this really is far from what I wanted and imagined. Is anyone else going through this or does anyone have experience or advice? Thanks!

Can you sometimes sleep on your right side?

Sometimes I get so uncomfortable on my left that I turn over to my right for part of the night. Is that ok? Or should I be completely avoiding sleeping on my right?
