So annoyed

Going through this pathetic phase where my daughter is waking up whinging every fucking morning! And there is NOTHING wrong with her it's just noise because as soon as I sit up she smiles!

I just want one fucking lie in!!

Bring back the newborn phase because I swear I hate this!

How old is she?

My baby does this but quiets down and snuggles me whenever I pick him up and bring him to my bed. I get a good hour or two extra sleep from this. 😅

small victories

just wanted to share something that made my little mum heart happy today!! i exclusively pump for my son due to my mental health when i first had him but today while waiting for a bottle to warm up i decided to try giving him my boob because he was really fussy waiting and he latched very well and fed for a couple minutes while we waited.

i chose to pump mostly because my hormone crash in the first week postpartum made breastfeeding feel too overwhelming but i still wanted him to have breastmilk since i knew i had plenty (i oversupply). i always kept the possibility of occasionally nursing him in the back of my mind as an emergency plan if we ended up out of the house without a bottle for whatever reason but i have been quite worried that, since he hadn’t nursed since he was a few days old (he’s now 6 weeks), he would have trouble going on the boob and was too used to the bottle but he fed incredibly!! he latched better than he did when we were in hospital and it was far more comfortable than it previously was.

i know it might not seem like that big a deal since i pump anyway and i know i have plenty milk but those few minutes honestly has healed some issues i had with nursing. my outlook on breastfeeding has improved immensely and after a day of a very fussy baby it was exactly what i needed.

a small win or i guess a small confidence boost but it feels huge to me. so i just wanted to share

Co sleeping HELP

Once baby (11 weeks) settles around 9/half9 for the night she will sleep till about 1ish, will feed and will go back to sleep. And would only really wake another 2 times for a feed change ect and go back to sleep in her next to me bed. Now after she settles it’s either her first or second get up of the night she’s very light sleeping, gets unsettled and soon as I pick her up she sleeps in my arms, soon as I put her down she’s fussing again. All of a sudden this has started to the point now where I’m having to put her in bed with me and I hate it it scares me but it’s the only way we sleep. I also don’t want to make an habit of it but I don’t know what’s gotten into her. Please help, advice? Or anything lol?

Anyone used a sleep coach

I’ve got a 22 month old who’s never been very good at going to sleep and we are struggling to get her to bed 1 without crying and 2 taking over 45 mins (she tells us that she wasn’t to go to sleep - lies down looking like she is going then 5 mins later is standing up in her cot crying, jumping around looking wide awake)

I need some advice

Not enjoying motherhood

I’m feeling disappointed in myself and just in general that I’m still not feeling the love for this stage of our lives. My baby is 11 weeks and I don’t feel “in love”. I feel a sense of responsibility for him but he doesn’t fill me with joy when I look at him. Do others feel this way or is this postpartum depression?
I feel very frustrated with my feelings and do want to feel more positive I’m just struggling to.

This or that? I need advice

Okay, long story short my 4mo daughter likes to sleep on her side, and she sleeps pretty much 8-10 stretches on her side. Which is fantastic, however, hubby is worried of SIDS which I get but I dont think its that serious. Shes been sleeping on her side for about a week and a half now, but hubs wants her to sleep on her back to ease his stress. Which i know "back is best" but she literally wants up every hour on her back or swaddled and on her back. Sooooo I need advice, I know every baby is different but I dont want to lose my sanity every night waking up every hour. She HATES being swaddled and having her legs restricted. Do I buy Merkins Magic Sleep suit, a Love to Dream sleep sack, a MomCozy Sleep Sack OR should I buy something else????? Im at a loss, my first born loved to be swaddled, but my 2nd hates it, and I dont really know what to do.😭😭
Please help me mama's
Also, to add: she has a pretty decent startle reflex as well, and is worse on her back, but pretty much none existent on her side. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

Next to me crib

Since my baby was born she’s slept in her next2me , i’ve always kept the sides up. i’m just wondering if it’s safe to keep the side down? My baby sleeps through most nights but likes to fall asleep/settle if she’s holding my finger, however that gets rather achey having to lean over the sides of the crib😅my mattress is quite tall and there’s no way she could roll into any bedding of mine. she normally stays quite still in her sleep too.
