Mine hadn’t pooped in 4 days. I put him in a. Warm bath and let him sit for 20 minutes while doing tummy massages and he finally pooped this morning

Is he breast fed or formula? it’s very normal for breast fed babies to go days or even up to a week with no bowel movements. Formula can bind babies up too, bicycles and maybe the Frida baby gas passer windi.

The car seat has worked wonders for me. If you have a baby bouncer that works too. It's my baby's poopy chair

Have you tried the “I love you” massage? That has really helped my son along with the exercises

I give my boy a ready to feed kendermil feed, and he does straight away maybe worth a try x

Hi! My son would go 4-5 days without pooping and we started him on a probiotic. We like the biogaia brand. He’s been on one since a newborn and very regular now!

Try the Frida windi if he’s in a lot of pain. I wouldn’t use it all the time but it was amazing for occasional support

i recommend the frida windy for when you can tell he’s in pain but do not rely on it or else he will only go when it is used. also if he is breastfed, i recommend taking a probiotic for yourself to pass through to him. with that, also avoid dairy and gluten as that tends to back them up. it’s “normal” for this to happen however it really shouldn’t, as it eventually causes them pain as you’re seeing. don’t stress! just try a few different things and see what works.

We had that same issue with our kiddo at that age. Even went to his pediatrician about it. They advised that every other day is normal. If it reaches 3 days, a warm bath can help. And worse case scenario, an oz of pure apple juice per month of age (in your case, just one oz) is helpful as well.

We also switched him from regular formula to the Enfamil Gentlease. And then switched to the Lactoferrin dark blue tub. It was more expensive, so that’s the other negative. BUT, it helped. I’ve also heard good things about kendamil formula but I’ve never used them for formula.

Similar to the windi - i tried our thermometer and it got it out immediately

My son went five days without pooping because of the formula he was on. As soon as we changed his formula, he went to the bathroom.

If my son was ever constipated, I would give him a foot rub. Your large intestine is located like on the pressure point on the bottom of your feet. And so I would look it up and I would give them a foot massage following the pattern and he would poop within the day.

My 8 year old when he was baby would go 3-5 days without pooping. That was his normal for a long time. One of my currently 3 month old twins struggles to poop has for the last couple of months. Switched her to enfamil gentlease to help with gas. Pediatrician recommended a 2oz bottle with 1oz apple juice and 1 Oz prune juice. They sell pack bottles in the baby food aisles at Target and Walmart. Works wonders for my little when she hasn't pooped in days or is struggling. And she struggles is badly to point of hollering and tears

Mommy bliss gripe water worked for my baby

And a thermometer but put Vaseline’s first and the gripe water

My daughter had cows milk sensitivity and once we switched to nutramigen it helped a lot but always keep the probiotics around because once they start solids the constipation comes back . The Frida baby windi didn’t help me I just completely changed her milk at that age and kept the biogio drops they also have lots of options for infant probiotics in target right now I would also recommend checking those out

Coughing at night

Does anyone else’s baby cough at night? I have a 10 month old and he is absolutely fine in the day but at night he has random coughing fits and they sound terrible he’s so loud with it and it wakes him up. I give him some water and settle him back down. I don’t know if this is just normal at this age or something else?

Bassinet advice bc I’m exhausted

So even been co sleeping. I know I know. But that night at 4am I just couldn’t anymore. But now that he’s getting bigger and is sleeping through big stretches now. I really want him sleeping at least most of the night in his own ”bed”.
Ive tried to put him in there already asleep, almost asleep, awake but drowsy, ect but he just lays there kicking or just start crying. I don’t mind co sleeping with naps sometimes I need a nap too but for actual bedtime I need help getting him to stay in there for sleeping.
We’ve been up for two hours since he woke up to eat, he’s in the bassinet looking like he wants to sleep but he keeps kicking his legs and not letting himself fall asleep.
Dude hates being swaddled just screams until he’s free so that’s not an option.
I just want to be able to actually sleep instead of lay here with my brain still half conscious. Been forced laying still through the nights so much that my hips and legs hurt from not being able to fully stretch and relax.
Kind advice please.

Baby welfare

When should I be concerned about a babies welfare and get involved?
I have a close relative who has a 7 month old and is just giving the baby food and water no milk or formula even though we have told them multiple times that the baby need milk still as main drink 😅 I have an older baby of my own and I think she gets confused as my baby is over one she follows what I do even though I tell her that she only has cows milk and mainly food because she’s over one 😅
I can’t remember now but do they do any health visits around this age?
we have all tried offering advice and guidance but it gets ignored

Do your breastfed babies sleep through (at 6 months?)?

Thinking of adding formula so he sleeps more??
