So even been co sleeping. I know I know. But that night at 4am I just couldn’t anymore. But now that he’s getting bigger and is sleeping through big stretches now. I really want him sleeping at least most of the night in his own ”bed”.
Ive tried to put him in there already asleep, almost asleep, awake but drowsy, ect but he just lays there kicking or just start crying. I don’t mind co sleeping with naps sometimes I need a nap too but for actual bedtime I need help getting him to stay in there for sleeping.
We’ve been up for two hours since he woke up to eat, he’s in the bassinet looking like he wants to sleep but he keeps kicking his legs and not letting himself fall asleep.
Dude hates being swaddled just screams until he’s free so that’s not an option.
I just want to be able to actually sleep instead of lay here with my brain still half conscious. Been forced laying still through the nights so much that my hips and legs hurt from not being able to fully stretch and relax.
Kind advice please.

Sorry that you’re going through all this. Lack of quality sleep is no joke. Have you heard of the Faber method? This worked wonders for our first born. It was definitely difficult for me so I let my partner sleep train him and it took about 5 days. Just go for a walk or go meet some friends if you can’t stand it. My LO was so much happier when he could sleep and so were we. It’s controversial but worked wonders for us.

I have totally been there, so I completely understand. We decided to get a floor bed, with sides all the way round. Best decision we ever made. I had to sleep in there with her initially, and then just to settle her to sleep. Now she is in there all night!
