Driving Post C Section

I contacted my insurance and there doesn’t seem to be a legal length that you need to wait. They said when I’m comfortable to drive and can do an emergency stop.

There is no legal limit you have to wait. You need to be able to safely perform all the manoeuvres and do an emergency stop. Once you can do that you can drive. I’ve driven at 10 days and 2 weeks PP after all my sections x

I’m with Aviva and this is what it says on the website “As long as the doctor has given you the all clear and you feel OK to drive, then it's absolutely fine. You don't need to provide proof and we don't need to note anything on your policy (including caesarean). You only need to notify us of any medical condition that you've notified the DVLA about.”
So it does seem like I am required to get an all clear from a doctor.
