I hate how big my belly still is, from the belly button down it is so wobbly, bloated and big..I didn’t have this with my first c section but second time round I’m left with this huge belly. I can’t fit it any of my clothes and feel so fat and thrumpy.
How can I get rid of it ??
Pre pregnancy weight was 14st 10lb, I went to 17st 3lb and am now 15st 8lb, so I’ve lost some but got more to go. I also have lymphodema so my feet and legs swell bad. Someone told me to get a belly band for my belly however I’ve read good and bad.
I saw a GP yesterday who said from my belly button under it’s all still very tender and I’ve been sent for a scan due to severe pain I’ve got on my right side. On my notes she said the scar was ‘healing well’ so can I do massages around it yet or no?

Personally id wait a few more weeks but only you really know, at this point I was still sore and swollen. Im 12 weeks now and only in the last few weeks has my swelling gone completely. My advice is don't push yourself if it hurts just because you want it to look different. If its still tender you've probably got some more healing ahead 🧡 but again only you know what you're body can take xx

5 weeks is nothing. You need to give your body more time.

At this stage i did verrry gentle massages. I think most finish stitching us up on the right side so my right size was the most painful.
Remember: Just over a MONTH ago, you had major surgery. They cut through 7 layers, and you were left with a dinner plate sized wound. Empty space!
In this month+ your wound has reduced in size, your organs are still rearranging back in their spots, your hormonal levels arent going to go back to normal for like 2 years, and your body is still working for 2.
I absolutely get how you feel and did a lot of crying and staring at myself. Especially since mine was a cryptic pregnancy turned into an emergency and traumatic section. I get it. Give your body time to continue doing what it knows to do.
