I wanted to ask about colostrum x

When is a good time to start collecting colostrum?
I am 37 weeks pregnant this weekend, but I really don’t want to bring on labour early as I’m hoping the baby will arrive in about 3 weeks 😩
Is it safe for me to start gently now, or should I wait a little longer?

Is anyone else due around 14 August like me? 🥰

Thank you so much. X

I’m due 14 August too 🥰 however baby’s being delivered a little earlier as she is breech. I started trying to express colostrum at 36 weeks and no signs of labour yet. Most midwives recommend starting between 36-37 weeks and they say there’s little evidence that it actually brings on labour at this stage! Check with your midwife but you should be fine x

Could I have (accidentally) harmed her?

I’m panicking. I just moved from EBF to formula three weeks ago (baby is 6 months) and I use a Tommy tippee prep machine to help making the bottles. Because of sleep deprivation, I must have set the settings of the prep machine all wrong, because I’ve only just clocked that I’ve been giving her 7 scoops of formula but 8 oz of water. It’s meant to be 7 scoops for 7 oz, so I’ve essentially been giving her overly diluted bottles for three weeks now. How severe is this? Do you think these three weeks could have harmed her? Do I need to take her to see a doctor urgently? She seems to be doing well and seems to be her normal happy self, but I want to make sure I haven’t done something terribly wrong for her health. (Please be nice, I didn’t do this on purpose, my baby wakes up every hour these days so I’m very sleep deprived and brains not working)

Car seat

I know the car seat I want, but I don’t have the money to afford it at this moment. Anybody know how I can get a car seat that is safe and the one I want for a good offer?

Prams prams prams

Any thoughts on prams? We have looked at and tried out so many. From Nuna to Bugaboo to whatever other ridiculous name there is but would love to hear what anyone’s experience has been like 🫶 xxx

How do I stop my toddler from turning on the lights when he wakes up?

I put him to bed an hour ago and he has come out of it and turned on the lights and tried to leave the room approaching 10 times now.
How do I stop this?

I don’t know why today is different
