Maybe check on a car seat safety group that she's fitted properly in the seat? Also, you'll hate this I'm sure cause its quite inconvenient, but you need to be stopping off at least every 45 mins with a baby that age and getting them out of the seat for at least 10/15 mins

I wouldn't, baby needs to be coming out of the car seat regularly during that trip so 6 hours is going to turn into 10 hours. Can you get the train or fly or some other mode of transport?

I also wouldn’t take a baby that hates the car seat and is that young on a 6 hour road trip. I still wouldn’t even take my almost 2 year old on it as he doesn’t like the car even now. I would take alternative travel or not go unless it really was absolutely essential like life and death lol.

I’d still go on the trip, have you tried seeing if she fitted in properly? Can your car seat lay down a bit, a lot of them have adjustments nowadays to lay them down a little 🩵🩷 I have a mirror on the seat and that really helped! I also have a dangly thing on the handle bar of the seat to help. I’ve always got a dummy on standby lol and my little one loves a muslin so I make sure he’s always got one. My little one also likes when I sing 🤣🤷🏼♀️ so I have a JLS album playing the whole way as well! If there is two of you, why doesn’t one of you sit in the back xx

We done this on the 12th and we planned for like 5 or 6 stops to be able to get him out and change him and feed him and let him stretch out a little bit. He hates his car seat but loves car rides he goes to sleep but he did get fussy so I sat in the back to soothe him when we needed to
