8 week old still not taking 4oz 🫠

I don’t know what we’re doing wrong, again šŸ˜…
LO will not take more than 4oz sometimes 3oz at every feed. I try to extend the feed window to around 3 hours which is a push and then she just takes that amount.
She is on nitramigen milk which apparently doesn’t taste as nice as normal milk, so don’t know if she’s just taking what she needs, but even in the day I do my best to keep her busy to try and extend her feed window but nothing seems to be working as she boots off at every opportunity til she’s fed šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļøšŸ˜šŸ˜†
I know every baby does their own thing but I thought she’d have increased by now.
Also not sure if she has reflux as any bigger amount like 4oz she will be slightly sick after it (only a mouthful).

Anyone else in a similar boat or have any advice?

Is she putting on the right amount of weight? If so I wouldn’t worry too much. They do say feed volume varies! I’d just be watching the weight and the nappies

My 10 week old still only takes between 3 and 4oz- I am sure my little boy was on about 6 by now, but I am just going with the flow and hoping she ups it soon šŸ˜…

My 10 week old has only been having 3/3.5oz every 3 hours, i do worry that it’s not enough but I can’t get her to take anymore

I’m in a similar position too. My nearly 10 week old LG is only taking between 3 and 4 ounces. Sometimes she will take slightly more but it’s not very often. If she’s having plenty of wet and dirty and is putting on weight then I wouldn’t worry too much

Antidepressants

Am I being selfish for remaining on my fluoxetine during pregnancy. I’m currently 15 weeks pregnant and getting lots of comments regarding coming off my antidepressants for the baby’s sake.

Baby falling off the bed

I feel terrible this morning my baby fell off the bed we never bed share but he would not sleep in his crib and I was exhausted so I let him sleep on the bed with me and this morning he rolled off whilst I was asleep I woke up immediately and he was crying and settled pretty quickly. I rang 111 just to check what I needed to do as I was terrified and they told me they have to make a referral to social services as protocol and I’m taking him to a&e to get him checked he seems fine he’s happy playing with his toys alert etc no signs of injury but has anyone else had this situation before?
I’m crying my eyes out I can’t believe this has happened and I feel so guilty any advice from anyone having a similar situation would be appreciated

Would you be uncomfortable if you were breastfeeding and a random woman was staring at your breasts?

She’s literally staring and gazing into your breasts

Lazy mum

Please be honest with me.
My LO is 3 months and her sleep has never been great, especially daytime naps. I’m constantly tired and really struggle with energy. Because of her short naps and my lack of energy, I rely on feeding her to sleep rather than rocking her - but because of this she’s feeding every 2 hours because her wake window would be over and it’d be time for her to nap, as opposed to feeding every 3-4 at this stage. I know she can go 3-4 hours without a feed, because on the rare occasion she and I have gotten a decent amount of sleep, I can follow some structure and feed 3-4 hours and she’d be content in this time.
Is me being lazy with her going to bite me in the butt in the long run? Please be honest with me.

Not hitting motor milestones

My daughter will be 10 months in 2 days and she doesn’t crawl or officially pull to stand . She can get from sitting to hands and knees and sometimes take one or two movements then collapses . She pivots occasionally . She pushes backwards . But has been in this scenario since 7 months . She can hold the sofa or an object for a minute or two when placed . She has pulled to stand on my knees once but never again or never on an object . She can pull from sitting to her knees when she holds a chair or soft . Barely rolls . Is comfortable sitting all day and reaching from sitting for a toy then back to sitting . Can’t go from lying down to sitting . She gets frustrated and screams because she can’t get something and doesn’t know how to reach for it as she hates ending on her tummy . Her legs I’d say are pretty strong she always reaches for me and basically does the pulling up work just using my hands . She is ahead of her social and communication milestones it’s just the motor ones . Any advice ? Is there something that helps . Could this be an issue ? Or any one who has been in a similar situation . I just see all these babies way younger than her crawling around and pulling to stand and I’m starting to be concerned .

Braxton Hicks vs Actual Contractions

Is it just me or is anyone else getting so stressed out about trying to work out if they’re just experiencing braxton hicks contractions/false contractions versus actual contractions? 🄲

I’ve had quite intense pain and aching in my lower back that’s come and gone since I woke up this morning, and the sensation of it is making me want to cry, but I’m stressing myself out more trying to figure out if I need to lock in and be ready for active labour to start soon or if I’m just being dramatic šŸ˜‚
