Im 10 weeks postpartum and I’ve never been so quick to anger before and get mad about the smallest things. I get upset/feel guilty after about getting mad or irritated at my husband or baby. I hate feeling this way😕

I’m wondering g this to because I feel the same

Same girl same!

Postpartum rage is VERY real

Hormones and sleep deprivation too.

It could definitely just be your hormones! I wouldn’t jump to PPD yet. Right after having a baby your hormone levels drop so quickly so that could explain it. I know for me I was kind of the same and now it’s gotten a lot easier and calmer.

Not sure it’s PPD but it’s hormonal. It happens to the best of us! Mine started right before delivery.

Postpartum Rage is a very real thing, brought on by hormonal changes and sleep deprivation. If it helps, it's your body's natural response to the stress. It's even worse if you're breastfeeding, because your body doesn't realize the stress isn't a threat, it just knows something is triggering the fight or flight and goes into defense mode.
Definitely discuss with a doctor, but until then try to take deep calming breaths, and if you need to walk away, then walk away. Put little one down somewhere safe, make sure needs are met, and then give yourself the space to breathe. Just for a few minutes, not as in the cry it out method. You're just giving yourself space so you don't do anything accidentally.
Trust me, I'm on baby four and I've had to do this a few times now. I have to take a step back and force myself to calm down before trying again.
