Birth times

My daughter was 9hours 45mins total and i pushed her out in 25mins just wondering what to expect with my second. I know things can go differently etc when actually there but supposedly theyre faster. What were the differences with yours?

My first was 36 hours and my second was 2.5 hours! We only just made it to the hospital in time, got in to the delivery room, two pushes and she arrived! I’m not sure if it’s always the case but most I’ve spoken to have said that the second is much quicker

Not me as I'm one and done... But my mum...
😅 I was 19 hours and my brother was 28 hours of labour 😅
My SIL too found her 2nd much longer ending in a C-section compared to her first 😅

So sadly not always the case 😅 then again maybe it's something in my family's genetics 😂

First was 5 hrs
Second was 22.5 hrs
Third ended in emergency c-section

when did everyone leave their first baby with someone else not in their own house for the first time? my boy is almost 10 weeks and i still don’t feel comfortable leaving him in someone else’s house yet

6 week check up at the GP

Hi everyone I was just wondering who has had their 6 week check up at the GP and what did it entail? Mine is in a couple weeks and I’m wondering if they’ll check my stitches as I had a second degree tear? I also wondered what else they discuss and ask at this appointment
