6 month still eats every 2 hours

Is it normal for my almost 6m to still eat every 2 hours, even at night ? How do i solve this please. Im exhausted from waking up and he refuses to eat more than 5oz. Sometimes he doesn’t even finish his bottle. I still didn’t start solid yet as im waiting for him to turn 6m in 2 weeks.

Its normal. They might be going through a growth spurt. In my last pregnancy I combo fed. So when my kiddo was past 6 months or so he started eating every 3-4 hours. And we alternated on bm to fm. Every baby is different tho so I don’t know if this will work for you.

Talking

We have a 17 month old. At his clinic they said by 18 months he should have at least 20 words. He doesn’t. Everything is either daddy or he points and moans to what he wants. Should I be worried?

12h under 12 weeks & breastfeeding

Hey! My baby is 6 weeks and breastfeeding. She eats every 2h during the day and 3h at night (I feed her whenever she asks so we don’t really have a schedule). Naturally we’re not sleeping much due to her feeding schedule and her really bad reflux so we were recommended to try the 12hours under 12 weeks book/technique. Has anyone done this and do you think its compatible with a breastfed baby?

What do I do???

My 3yo is starting nursery next month so we've been trying to get him to understand about private parts and appropriate/safe touch.

We're trying to teach him that private parts are penis/vagina, bum, mouth and chest.

We have a 3 month old baby girl and he's realised she "doesn't have a willy" so we've been explaining that she has a vagina and he understands/doesn't care 😅

But today when I was changing his sister I was explaining again about private parts (we've only spoken about it 2 or 3 times in the past week or so) and he just started being really cheeky, saying he was going to touch her and me and then started hitting my bum 🙄

I've explained that if he wants he can ask to hold hands, or for a hug etc, it's okay to touch arms and legs but he just doesn't care about what he *can* do he just wants to do what he *cant* do and it's started to get me worried.

I'm not making a big deal of it, I've just been explaining it matter of fact like anything else and not too often, and usually he listens.. I'm also aware it's better to explain what he can do but with this subject isn't it important to say explicitly what he cannot touch?? Idk can anyone help?

Bed time

I appreciate everyone seems to have the opposite problem…but I cannot get my baby’s bedtime any later. He goes down for the night around 615-630. Which in theory sounds great, but we have to hold him for ages until we can transfer him to the Moses. And also means his first and only long stretch of sleep ends at 930-1030 😩 just as I’m going to bed usually. I just cannot get him to stay up any later!
I’ve tried waking him after 30 mins to treat it like a nap but he’s so grumpy and won’t have any of it, he just wants to be asleep. I’ve tried moving his morning wake time and naps along later. I’ve tried getting his last nap to last to at least 5, but it’s not happening.
I’m hoping that shifting his bedtime later will mean he’s less wakeful in the later part of the night.
Anyone any ideas?

What would you do?

* pic of poop *

So I’ll just explain from the beginning. My girl woke up this morning around 8.30am, and her nappy was completely dry, not a single drop of pee. Last time she peed was around 9.40pm last night. She was also weirdly floppy and just not herself, and she kept falling asleep which is not the usual at all. She also didn’t pee until around 11:20am which had me and hubby extremely worried and were considering calling 111, although she has been drinking a lot of water etc. after she had breakfast (10.30am) her behaviour started to go back to normal, she started speaking and playing etc and we thought she’s good and was probably just more tired than usual. Around 11:40 she pood and it’s black as tar, and when we asked ai it said we should call 111 considering everything that happened this morning, but I’m torn. Her behaviour is back to normal now, she has no fever, no vomiting, eating and drinking like normal and now urinating like normal, so I’m thinking calling 111 would be a waste of doc’s visit? What would you do??
