12h under 12 weeks & breastfeeding

Hey! My baby is 6 weeks and breastfeeding. She eats every 2h during the day and 3h at night (I feed her whenever she asks so we don’t really have a schedule). Naturally we’re not sleeping much due to her feeding schedule and her really bad reflux so we were recommended to try the 12hours under 12 weeks book/technique. Has anyone done this and do you think its compatible with a breastfed baby?

You need to feed breastfed baby on demand. Breastmilk digests quickly which is why they feed often, that and to increase your supply.

If you are having bad reflux I would strongly recommend the book Why Infant Reflux Matters because if you can find the reason it might help a lot x

Dummy and throwing up

My 12 day old throws up everytime I try and give her a dummy. Is this normal?
It’s like the minute it touches her lips she gags and then projectile vomits!

Am I being too uptight?

My sister in law is a mum herself and I generally get on with her well. She sometimes oversteps boundaries though and she once gave my son a big piece apple when he was about 6 months old without asking, and he started coughing and I had to take it out his mouth.
My husband has recently said that she would like to look after our son (who is now almost 2) and it would give us chance to have some date nights/days.
I just don't feel 100% comfortable though and I'm not sure if I'd spend the time away worrying.

Breasts?

So... I have a lump on my right breast and I've only heard of that being cancer. I'm currently feeding my daughter on that boob because my mother in law says I could just be full. So I'll post an update after.

Update: it went down mostly and once she fell asleep she pulled off and there was milk in her mouth. The thing is I forgot to mention that I wasn't producing milk before this.

Does losing weight mean losing my milk supply slowly?

I’ve been going Gym for the last 4 to 5 weeks and I’ve noticed the change of my milk supply. I’m drinking plenty of water and I’m eating foods but less I’m taking the food I’m eating because I’ve changed my diet. Yeah she’s still drinking which is good, but I feel like I’ve been giving her more formula than breastmilk, which I don’t want.

Nighttime Nappies

My little one is 7 months old and we’ve always used Aldi nappies, he’s currently in size 3 and size 4 is just too big. Recently he’s started leaking through the night, I’m guessing from all the rolling he does in the night. Can anyone recommend a good brand that can be used on a night time? TIA x
