My baby has her first jabs in 29th 😭 those that have already been through it... how long were your little ones poorly for afterwards? We're off on our first little holiday the week after so just trying to plan ahead. Thanks

Both my children have been completely fine their first set of vaccines, both slept better the night following too, don’t let everyone scare you x

My guy cried louder on the car ride there than getting the injections themselves 😅
He was unsettled for the rest of the day, didn't sleep well that night and then was totally back to his usual self the following morning!

My baby girl has hers tomorrow and I keep crying thinking about it. I dont want her to be in pain 😞

Baby is more likely to be fine than poorly. She will likely have yucky nappies for a few days because of the rotavirus medicine and she will probably be tired for 24 hours and will sleep lots ❤️
You will likely cry more than she will too. It's over with really quickly. Oral medicine and then you give them a cuddle while the nurse pops the injection in one leg then quickly flip them round for a cuddle on the other side with the other injection. If you're breastfeeding then just offer boob straight away for comfort.
She will be fine. Give her Calpol 20-30 minutes before the jabs. It reduces the pain of them and means the paracetamol is working before she has a chance to develop any fever. That's a tip from my health visitor xxx

Tired and very cuddly for two days she had a fever about 12hrs after the vaccine but gave calpol and it came back down x

We timed his bottle to be due just after his jabs and it helped so much! He cried and then we offered him the bottle straight after and it settled him immediately- would definitely recommend doing this x

My boy had them on Wednesday he was a bit more irritable the day after and slept a bit more but nothing to write home about x
