Am i crazy?

So baby is 5 months old.. still in the next to me, unfortunately her cot doesnt fit in our room so now i am debating buying a “space saver cot” which would allow us to have her with us for longer?
She is the only baby , not planning anymore either and she sleeps through the night since day 1 so she is no trouble at all!
Am i just being crazy in here ? 😅 just feel like i am not ready for my baby girl to go to her own room yet.
Anyone else with the same issue?

We have a travel cot in our room could you do that? A useful thing to have anyway!

No you are not crazy at all, and it is very normal to not want to have them be in their own room.

My daughter grew out of her cot at 3 months old so I bought a travel cot and put a mattress in it to have by the bed until I am ready. It Takes up most of the space but I do not care 😂😂

Do what is best for your sanity ❤️

I have actually looked into travel cots but they aren’t meant to be too good for long term and I doubt this will be just a couple of weeks😅

If she’s only baby and sleeping well I’d put her in her own room if I was in your position. I am hesitant right now as we have a 3 year old as well and baby isn’t sleeping through yet and I don’t want her to wake him up as their bedrooms share a paper thin wall🤣

Although not a Feb 2026 baby this came up on my feed so thought I’d just say:
I got my little boy the chicco next to me forever when the cot I got him him didn’t fit in my room, I’ve found it really good and it turns into a floor bed so will last a couple of years too!

I bought the smaller size cot in case we needed to do this too. It’s not crazy at all. Guidance is 6 months in parents bedroom minimum, not maximum. ♥️

I moved my first at 6 months and will be doing with my now 5 month old. Personally if you have a cot for baby in their room I wouldn’t buy another one which may not last that much longer anyway but that’s just me and in a selfish way I quite liked getting our room back. Both mine have loved their big cot bed which they can sprawl in and haven’t enjoyed being enclosed in a small cot . Do what works for you though but I would say look for one they can’t climb over as they start climbing things before you know it

I’m 10 weeks PP and I’m having the worst time with my body. I used to be pretty small, and I’m 10 pounds away from my pre-baby weight. Everyone keeps telling me i just had a baby and to give myself some grace. But i can’t help but feeling like a slob when i look at myself in the mirror. I want to cry. I don’t feel like myself, i don’t feel pretty anymore. I hate talking about this too because i sound so superficial. I know recovery is harder with a c-section. I’m just ready to bounce back. I want to feel like me again.

6 month still eats every 2 hours

Is it normal for my almost 6m to still eat every 2 hours, even at night ? How do i solve this please. Im exhausted from waking up and he refuses to eat more than 5oz. Sometimes he doesn’t even finish his bottle. I still didn’t start solid yet as im waiting for him to turn 6m in 2 weeks.

Is this normal?

I recently had my second child and feel so much love for him that I don’t think I immediately felt when I had my first child? It’s been a few years so the age gap is bigger, but I don’t remember feeling like this last time I was post partum

Pelvic floor exercises

What are we meant to be doing postpartum when it comes to pelvic floor exercises. Am I meant to be just squeezing and releasing or actually doing something more structured?
