Hip/back pain

Hello fellow mammas to be!
I’ve always struggled with hip pain, but I’m 28 weeks tomorrow and I’m finding myself in agony constantly. Every time I get up I’m hobbling like an old lady and I just can’t hack it anymore! Even through the night I’m tossing and turning because if I lay on one side for too long the pain wakes me up, but the other side hasn’t had chance to recover so I’m just stuck laying on one side in pain.
Has anyone been through the same and managed to find something to help? I’m at a point where it’s starting to get me down.
Thank you all💖

Try seeing a physio! There are some exercises that might help, also mamastefit have some free content (and paid courses). For me personally I have some awful days but also days when exercise etc really helps 😊

Im in the exact same boat, I got myself a hip support with helps on day to day use. But definitely speak to your midwife or get a doctor’s appointment and ask to be referred to antenatal physio therapy. I’ve got my appointment this week, hoping it helps!

Look up Pelvic Partnership, they are a charity that works with PGP, they also have a good FB group with advice. They have a list of people who can help as not all physios are specialist enough to help.

Hey lovely! I have recently been diagnosed with Pelvic girdle pain as it’s hurrendous and they are sending me for Physio so worth chatting to the midwife xxxx

Thank you all, I’ve got a scan this week so I’ll mention it then and see if I can get anywhere with physio! Much appreciated from all of you💖

Do you make your birthday a big deal?

Like if people don't celebrate you, don't wish you happy birthday, forget, don't come to your celebrations etc., does this bother you?

I try to say my birthday isn't a big deal and this year I really tried my best to just be grateful I'm alive for another birthday, but it's a big deal to me and maybe I should just embrace that it's something important to me 😂
