I went with my kids. Go as soon as the open so that you could be placed the same afternoon. It gets packed quickly and is an all day process. The food is not good, but there’s a McDonald up the hill. Keep a working phone wi the you bc they will call you for interview. If you’re a DV victim, let that be known! They also have storage to put your bags/ luggage so that you don’t have to carry anything around with you. They DO have bus transportation, but you will have to wait until bus arrives late afternoon to pick you and everyone else up. Or you could take a cab if you have the money or a ride. I went with my daughter they gave us shelter and we had our own apartment within 6 months. We've been in our apartment now longer than we were ever in shelter 🫶🏻 they only found me ineligible on time
