Is it really hard? I need words of encouragement, me and my husband have decided to start trying in October, our daughter will be 18 months which means we could potentially have just over a year age gap. (It may of course take longer to conceive)
Positive stories please? Incognito as I don’t want friends and family to see and know we’re going to start trying

I have an almost 3 year old boy and 6 month old baby boy. My toddler is really sweet and kind so we haven't gotten any issues other than a little jealousy over quality time but its normal as hes used to having 100% of mom and dad.
Id say the hardest part for me has been laundry is never ending, and lack of sleep as is normal with an infant. For me infants are way harder than toddlers. I absolutely enjoy toddlerhood. They dont interact too much (baby cant do much lol) but they absolutely love each other.

Its difficult but worth it. I had 3 under 3 for 5 weeks last year. Ive got 3 year old 2 year old and almost 9 month old. Its a handful but lovely to see all the kids together playing. Theyll all be close together in school to

I had 3 under 3 for over a year a few months ago, yes it is hard, I would personally recommend waiting a little while longer to start trying again. I would not have done such close in age if it was my choice.

It's the best my daughter was 2.4 when her brother was born and they are the best of friends. She helps with everything getting everything ready for bottle, nappy change, bed, bath, tea which i think helps lot coz she wasn't being pushed out. Keeping her quire during nap times was probably the hards at first but she soon learnt that if he was sleeping she had to use her quite voice. They are nearly 4 and 17 months and do everything together and of course they argue like there is no tomorrow and and best friends again the next minute
