Pregnant at 4 months pp

Just found out I am pregnant at 4 months pp🫣 I’m not shocked to be honest but I am at the same time if that makes sense! Looking to see if anyone has the same kind of age gap that my 2 little ones will have? So my little one isn’t even going to be a year old by the time her little brother/sister is here. Not looking for judgement just looking for advice and what I need to be prepared for ect… thank you :)

Eek! Congratulations and I hope it all goes well for you. I have a 16m age gap, wasnt planned. Its hard, really really hard. We are still finding our feet but it feels easier and way less scary now. Its not all sunshine and rainbows, our days are absolute chaos hahaha.

I struggled a lot with feeling guilty to my 1st born. I read "the second baby book", somewhat helped. Our breastfeeding naturally came to an end on the 1st April (was due 30th April).

Preparation for everything is key lol. Getting stuff prepared the night before (lunches, snacks, nappies, clothes).

I found pregnancy to be fine, tiring sure as naps for me were non existent. I forgot I was pregnant most of the time as it was still go go go with my 1st.

Double check your works maternity pay if this is something your on as you may not qualify for another one. I just about qualified as I had annual leave. Feel free to message me any questions x

Baby was due August 8th but was born yesterday ( July 28th ) at 3:30 pm

The most amazing experience ever my water broke at 6am and baby girl was born at 3:30 the contractions were horrible yet not that bad at the same time I’m so in love with my baby girl I still can’t believe I’m a mommy now 🥹

Kit days

I’m just curious to see what everyone else has done. I’m due to go back to work on the 1st September, when the funded hours are available. But the closer I get to returning, the less I want to do my kit days. My job is stressful enough, and they’ve even tried to get me to work more kit days for this reason. I’ve spoken to people that started them, then didn’t do the rest because they realised they would rather spend time at home. Then others have said it’s helped them get a routine (as such).
So just curious to see what others have done/are doing 🙂

What was your elective section experience

I'm honestly terrified of going overdue! I don't want an induction or a c section! But 25% of inductions end in section so I would rather bypass all that pain...

Can you share your stories? How was baby and how was your recovery?

Pregnant after emergency c section

We just found out we are pregnant and I am so so happy! We did have an emergency c section after a failed induction in Sept of 2025.

All in all my recovery was good I was running and lifting by 12 weeks and I have healed one thing I have not anticipated is the mental aspect of the c section. I am worrying at night now about it.

How did you handle the pregnancy after an emergency c section?

Is this normal?

I’m 33+4W and my stomach feels really tight, I have sharp pains in my pelvis when I sit down or go to pee, and I keep getting cramps low down. I’m struggling to sleep at night because of how uncomfortable my stomach feels too. Is this normal at this time?
